I have noticed some balance issues previous but will play more with this patch to see if any are better. A couple things I have noticed off the top previous though (note, I am using real life experience in my opinion as I 'have been there'):

First I want to say I am having fun with the game. In some places, I am actually getting a challenge from the A.I., which is nice to see and experience. Many others I play games like this with are also military men and women, and I have heard more than one of them comment on this as well. So a well done in that regard. I look forward to seeing where you go with the title!

Now the issues we, that includes me and some of my friends and issues we have seen and discussed playing...

1 - Both handheld and vehicle mounted ATGM's rare if ever are a kill on an IFV, APC or other variant when, in fact, they should have a much higher percentage of kill on a hit. Without the point defense capabilities more modern units are adding, a hit from such a missile would be a 90% kill rate on those vehicles with a solid full strike. Right now they mostly survive that first strike.
2 - Tanks and ATGM's. Same problem. Now a tank CAN weather a strike depending on the tank. However, I see soviet era tanks taking Javelins and surviving 85% of the time even with a TOP down strike. Not even close to reality, in fact not close for most tanks. Even the Abrams would be severely degraded with a top down attack depending on WHERE the strike hits. I also noticed that regardless of the tank, none of them are using blast protection. I.E. both ERA as well as actual blast direction and blow out panels for the ammo bays.
3 - Tanks hitting a full on strike against an IFV, both sides, would be a kill using HEAT ammo. Using SABOT, there is a chance of over-penetration. But with HEAT IFV's nailed by a tank round, should be toast if it is a solid strike.
** that is the balance issue for all three of those points, when NOT adding in the point defense systems. Once those come into play, of course that increases greatly the chance of survival for ANY vehicle using it.

4 - A-10II's should be hard as heck to kill, not downed with a single missile. The russian counterpart to the A-10II should also be a tough bird to down in terms of one hit or more needed. Both are built as a flying tank however the A-10II does hold a clear advantage to capability and survivability. They need to reflect that.
Additionally, the F-35 should not be hit as easily either. First, they would never get that close to the ground for manpads to even have a chance of reaching them. Only for gun runs would this change. They are electronically defended by, let's call them specialized computer systems, and stealth against both IR and other seeker systems.
They should be one of the more survivable birds unless they are used in a manner that does not reflect their actual functions. They are not invisible of course but lock on should be a hard thing to maintain on one. IF you get a hit, well that bird is probably toast but getting the hit should be the challenge.
5 - Artillery (round and rocket). Seems mostly ineffective as the AOE or blast damage radius is super small, especially for larger howitzers. Additionally, today's units in most nations are able to guide munitions, with some nations (US) having top tier ability and others a bit less or even 50 years less in tech ability in some cases. Right now, all seem to be about the same regardless of type, nation or age of the unit in use.
6 - LCAC's are MUCH faster than the game allows for. Way too slow.

Well, that's it for now.. There are others but for now those are some that should be considered.
