Its an unreal engine problem sadly.

Not necessarily cuz other games that aren't found unreal don't have compression when they should I mean just to give you one current example helldivers 2 it's been very bloated with gigs when it shouldn't be and the devs know it but when it comes to this game if they're able to compress and they don't that's not necessarily the engine's fault.

I never really had enough income to keep a mercenary around for more than a couple turns. That is interesting that they start off knowing spells though.

I once hired an entire stack of mercenaries to defend my capital when Balkoth caught me off guard. i ran out if cash the turn before he attacked and they deserted.

His basic kick-kick-Unblockable Kick/Sweep sequence is a 50/50 high low with less than a second of time to read whether to up sway or parry and taking the third option of dodging is out of the question because he can immediately cancel into another combo and break your structure if you blocked/parried the first two.

You can ameliorate some of it by coming in with a steel pipe, but that's not only annoying, it also only really helps the first third of the first half before it's brutalized.

Is there ANY method of reading the 50/50 that I'm unaware of?

when will i get more than 10 fps when hellpod gets shot down from ship toward ground ,i have a 7800 X3D ddr5 64gb ram and a RTX5090 , to dip down to 30 and even sometime 12 fps 1% lows during that one sequence is beyond me, i mean otherise i get over 100 fps in 4k, so you did good there, its just that one spot that needs attention more than anything,

Probably because in that instance it is loading everything. The pod drop is masking a loading screen.
