Need ‘Neutral’ Review Rating

Which games?

Not sure why it’s relevant, but primarily INDIKA. I’ve left negative reviews for other indie or “sort-of” indie titles (AKA, small dev under a significantly bigger publisher) that I didn’t feel as bad about, because the complaints were more about monetization decisions/core game changes-but with INDIKA it was purely a case of “I disliked playing at least as much (if not more) of this game then I enjoyed playing. And I came into the game genuinely wanting to love it-but I didn’t.”

I’m pretty sure the first thing I say in that review is some iteration of “I wish Steam had a neutral rating.” Most indie games I review I err strongly on the side of “Recommended-BUT,” unfortunately for INDIKA I had to force myself to finish and 100% it…and if I have to force myself to even finish a game…I can’t bring myself to give that game a “Recommended” rating.

I couldn’t fathom doing that. With so much to see or do or learn. Just absolutely fascinating. The older I get the more it hits me, we only have 1 shot at this life. So why not be happy? Most people come to that conclusion and I’m guessing you have too. Which can only mean you get some pleasure out of these posts, which is even more fascinating!!!! The fascination is never ending!

Ever consider finding a real world activist group? Or maybe a game with a larger audience? Or writing letters to these devs? Or honestly doing anything other than spending weeks on end going back and forth on this forum? So interesting

We each are insanely unique. No two are alike. So when I come across someone who openly acknowledges they’re making no difference on a forum with fewer than 100 people yet spends literally weeks dedicating time to posting on it….im just insanely curious as to why? What on earth is your thought process?
