I actually like it compared to how it was wedged into Grim Dawn. Boss fights feel like MMO rage bosses with powerful, highly telegraphed tank busters you need to prepare for. If you don't like dodging, then put points into barrier.

Sometimes that bug also happens with ally's where someone would attack a country and their ally just doesnt join the war and the other way around where their ally doesnt join a war that their other ally country started, and like thats their FRIEND wouldnt they do *something* to help?

Battlefield 4 launched in 2013, and it only showed on steam in 2020. If there are so many players on steam, it means there are many, many more players outside of steam (let alone 12 years ago when it launched). And there are, because there are plenty of full servers.

I mean for sure, devs cant be perfect, but it's also not like everything they are doing is bad.
You know, you can be 100% negative (like Nipples), you can be 100% positive (don't have example of such person), or you can point out negatives but also acknowledge positives.

I'm currently doing the Mute challenge with a wolf (I don't woof, howl, growl, etc...), so similar. (I do have to break the no howling rule so I can pack-rally to end the YH quest, but only then that, I don't make sound)
I'm on my second litter, and am doing okay. Other then the once I lost three pups to a coyote attack, and the fact I can't howl to help mark territory, it's been going well. I'm playing on Challenging, with all pup deaths on.

Mute would definitely be a good challenge! Did you take over a rival pack? have you lost any to the hunt training phase yet?

No, I just found a mate the ordinary way.
This was a challenge started before the Saga and the first litter was done entirely before it came out. I've been playing the second litter in the Saga, but the Young Hunters quest is the one quest I've yet to do with this challenge (I've almost gotten to it, nearly done with Growing Pups).
If I get around to playing with this wolf any time soon, I'll tell you how Young Hunters works out.

While I do agree after doing Clara's full route I do understand why she isn't. Even if she hasn't outright said it yet Clara really loves the mc and Mia is pretty protective of Clara. I don't think the relationship with MC and Mia will progress further until they tell Clara about it and that doesn't seem likely to happen any time soon.

DAO is a bit dated sure, but this almost 20y.o. game is still ages ahead from this ClickingAndWaitingForYourTurn sleeping pill of a game.
