It's okay if this game isn't for you. Truly good games have a narrow target audience and focus on delivery on spot. Good reviews are no guarantee that you will like a game yourself.

6h of campaign time isn't exactly a lot. If a vague alien threat that will keep you busy for the next 40 years of gameplay doesn't hold your attention, this might not be for you.

This game is more for people who like to watch how their strategy unfolds over time and don't mind to do a lot of tidious stuff (or to start over) to make it really happen.

It thrives on its many details and the attempt to make it as realistic as possible (and pretty challenging too), based on what science has to offer today. Like all 4x games, it has a repetitive gameplay that grows with the number of assets controlled (which can get hillarious in this game). Yet it offers a level of data complexity rarely found in 4x games.

Reviews are definitely reflecting the fact that the devs are working very hard on this game. Even negativ reviews acknowledge the quality and maturity of the game.
I also think there's little room for false promisses and disappointed hopes which usually drag down reviews over time. The game is definity not flawless, but it's good enough to earn these many good reviews.

I am well aware of this as I play Paradox games and still struggle to see where a lot of the enjoyment lies in many of those that have a very large following. I can see aspects of this game that could be addictive such as forming a coalition against the aliens and other earth factions. Obviously giving it more time will probably see more of the addictive gameplay start to emerge.

I am in no rush and do not wish to decry a game just because it doesnt grab me in the first 10 or 20 hrs of playtime. I just wanted to know if and when if it will actually get more fun and how that generally happens lol. I dont like to watch long gameplay videos on YT so its easier just to ask.

Last year, I think it was October, Topless wrote that he could already offer the game in EA, but he would still polish it to make the EA experience significantly better than MSC's. A lot of time has passed since then. I think Topless is getting distracted by women and has neglected the real core. That is, us, my friends...

When I'm in the top 3 it shows my full name scrolling across the top.

The Armoury letters on the collectables is much better!

Yop.. same here. After Beta is gone i have to admit that im addicted to Bf6 already.
Everything else right now is a big „ewww“
I gave up on 2042 free Battlepass for BF6 Skins, i cannot handle the game.
I do only miss like 2 points for the Revolver skin.. so that means something 😵💫

Что он там забыл?) Метка на руке которая выключила силу но и убрала уязвимость клана, заключив выпитого досуха малкавиана в голову ГГ. Там это сюжетно обусловлено. Из стартовых сил двойной прыжок, левитация, телекинез, вампирский спринт, по стенам в том числе. Вруби последний геймплей боёвки старой блодлайнс 2 и свежие, убожество 2019 года выглядит в 10 раз хуже. Вопрос только в нелинейности и вариативности диалогов за разные кланы, этого мы не можем взять из старых футажей и из новых пока что.
Также ноунэймы делали в 2019ом лгбт поделку с кривыми анимациями и сюжетом за слабокровного, жирную(бодипозитивную) Лу Грэхэм. Игра уже 7 лет в производственном аду, пару лет как известно что сюжет будет за старейшину и ты только сейчас решил возмутится?) За прекрасное длц за пол цены основной игры скажи параджоксам спасибо, это их модель продажи. У ноунэйм "чайниз рум" больше опыта в разработке чем у "хартсьют лабс" которая тащила деньги и пользовала Митсоду что бы прикрываться.

I think both of you have a valid reason and it's fine to express it. However, I can't quite agree to the "don't know how" part. They are multi-million dollar company. That means they have enough of money to get someone to teach them and/or manage a separate version.

But that's beyond everything, since I haven't seen them add anything new to game-play since about the release of the game. They are struggling to optimise the AI behaviour, let alone talk about adding anything. Half of the changes feel like a placebo effect.
Some things seem to just be straight up be neglected, such as pre-mission lobby (map, planning, gear etc). Need to change that one item? Well, haul your ass back to hub which takes rather long and is a needless step. None of it, which makes sense, as it's supposed to be SWAT 4 successor, yet they couldn't seem to take note of these types of things.

Right, which makes all of this feel pretty pointless. We're all likely complaining to no avail, be it about censorship or otherwise.
