Popular IP? When that game came out, it was not at all popular. Only two films existed at that point and one of them was a box office failure. In what world would making a terrible live service game for a dead IP by a studio that primarily makes singleplayer narrative driven games be a good idea?

I also just find it really funny that you think Harley Quinn in that game is hideous; she's literally modelled after the Harley Quinn from the movie she was meant to complement, and her face model is of Natasha Estdale; a supermodel. Supermodels are ugly, now?

See, now this is the problem. I never said ugly does sell, I even said I'm sure there's fringe examples of characters deliberately being made ugly, what I DID say is that there's not a widespread push to make characters ugly, and the reason these games fail doesn't have to do with them being woke. Plenty of the characters you mention have characters that aren't ugly in them, but grifters love focusing on the ugly characters in them as if that's a standard.

Stellar Blade was successful because it was a good game. Everyone gave it high scores across the board. Good games with interesting designs are successful; it's unfortunate that you're overshadowing all of the game's great qualities because you prioritize the fact that the main character is conventionally attractive. You know what games that are "woke" that were also wildly successful? Monster Hunter Wilds, Marvel's Spider-Man, Baldur's Gate 3, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Death Stranding, ASTRONEER, Hunt: Showdown, Marvel Rivals, Watch_Dogs 2, Dying Light 2 Stay Human, etc.; note, Stellar Blade has sold less units than most of these games did, individually.

Isn't this just sad? I play mostly on PS5. My dad is the one who bought FF7-9. So that's all him. Which is why you see that many hours with barely any achievements
