i swear the LONGEST i have had to wait for any match with the minimum required to pick in order to que even with currently billy as my high priority is like a few minutes...... PLEASE even if it makes my que time balloon to like 10 minutes just let me pick just ONE character because if i wanna play billy or abrams or mcginnis than its cause im in the mood to play THEM and NOT any of the other picks i have for 30 minutes......... just please let us play who we want because the game is only on track after this most recent update to grow in numbers leading up to release so even if it makes the que times longer, it wont matter as much..........................

I'll keep exploring the reasons why as long as you like, I mean everyone is guessing here including myself. But this game has been in EA since 2017 I believe, so maaaaybe there's been a decision that they've already hooked their primary market and there's just not much more interest out there (again, just a possible theory here to explore and consider all sides).

Sure we still see the occasional new face, but those sales are likely not enough to raise any excitement. Rocket has already demonstrated they are tracking various analytics on market reactions and if there were any decent percentage of a good return to the effort they would be making that effort. I can't tell you how many times I've read posts like this from back seat developers who constantly scream "do this and your sales will improve". This game is a niche', we've known this for a while, the sales numbers are never going to make this big because the niche is too small. It's just like politics, they don't know how your specifically are going to vote but they do know by demographics how your group tends to vote. They already have a very good idea on who's going to win, what bills will and won't pass, and it's not even voting day yet; sales isn't much different.

I'm in an office every day with a group of people who make decisions like this, do we or don't we, and frankly the answer is usually "don't" when it comes to losing money. That didn't work, move on to something else. So believe me when I say I'm not only surprised but thrilled to see this title continue to evolve and continue despite knowing it's losing money. Clearly this is a project Rocket loves to keep alive and knowing what the cost of operations is like, I can certainly allow for minimal life support operations on this title just to keep it going, especially if he has a board of directors or financiers to answer to.

We're never going to know the full story under the hood, but I do know that bashing a developer constantly and telling them they're too stupid to run their own business (yah, you don't say it, but it sure is implied) is going to wear down their morale and desire to continue. I choose to have faith that they're doing what they can, with what they can, based on their history of actions. These dev's are human beings, with a life and feelings too. I've said it once and I'll say it again; if you feel you can do better then shut up and show me.

then I looked at Elden Ring in my steam library and that's 51 gigs so, yeah. 93 gbs of disk space for this game is confusing to me

Console design prioritized low load times over disk space - you're only expected to have one or two games on your XBone 12S-Premium Or Sony XD-Y at a time.

the game is unplayable online. I've barely gotten any matches so far, and when I do, there's a bunch of random disconnects.
