The game was already a fantastic gem with only Ideology and Royalty but I hadn't played it for a few years, so I decided to grab Biotech, Anomaly and Odyssey last month.
And god I had forgotten how much Rimworld is a masterpiece and it is even more the case with all the DLCs and a selection of mods. I had to share it. I just love the game.

Guy who used to sit next to me at work would only ever play games on his computer, barely ever actually did anything, and I would always tell him that he really needed to do his work, but he never listened. He would just keep playing those games. Pretty soon, the boss called him over to his office and told him he can't keep playing games all day and that there was work to be done. If he didn't do it, he said, he would be fired. So he comes back over to his desk and does some halfhearted work for a few days, but pretty soon he was back to old habits and playing games again...
Later that week I came in and he wasn't there. You can guess what happened to him.

Maybe you are talking to the same person? Wouldn't that be funny?

They are cyborgs. All of them.
A Cyborg is a being that uses technology to aument themselves.
You don't need to be dependent on implants for basic survival to count as a cyborg.
Depending on the exact definition you use, you are already a cyborg if you use glasses.

The whole question of power sources is an interesting one.
I'd be a bit reluctant to walk around with implants with powerfull bateries.
We all know how ugly it can get if your smartphone's battery catches fire in your pocket.
Immagine, a battery powerfull and small enough to supply all the functions of a high-end optical implant for a year shorts out in your eye socket. yikes
Unlikely? Maybe with high-end impants, but with aftermarket stuff the poor have to make do...

That's a very good observation, thank you, you're absolutely right, battery maintenance is very important, especially if it fails in combat... and with all the tasks and side missions that V completes, the wear and tear is enormous.

Awesome update, I'm so excited!! Does anyone know if this includes the tattoo shop? I didn't see it anywhere.
