This is fine for the games.
For titles that have both a Windows build and Linux build you'd first enable 'Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool' (right-click the game in your Steam Library > Properties > Compatibility) before doing the restore.
There can be other associated downloads when you restore (e.g. Proton stuff, shader stuff) but you should be good for the actual game.

Mods look like another story.

Hmm that's what I was afraid of. The mod issue is my number one concern since I'll have to manually redownload, reinstall and reconfigure all of them, which can be hit-or-miss when working with existing saves and I strongly doubt I'd be able to complete both my current Skyrim and Fallout 4 runs before October.

Since ma PC gamer took too much power (smart pug says 185 W) it cost me 0,30 to 0,50 euro depending on I play half of day or about 10 hours.
Every day The Mac costs me 0,05 to 0,10 euro in the same times as above : FIVE TIMES LESS !!!
This is why I put the computer away in a drawer...

I bought a refurbished Mini M4 Pro to replace the M3 with 8 Go RAM, the principal reason is to play inZOI at the better speed as I could on the PC.
For now I can run inZOI on the M4 using CrossOver : it runs but sometimes has small problems and cannot run the old mods from ~mods/ => So I'm waiting for the macos version ! :)

And the question is : would it be possible to use the mods in ~mods/ withe the mac version ?
This is very important because I see lot of very nice swimsuits and garments, but even with the "No garment" mod swimsuits and other outfits look very bad.

And this key is working only on EA. But let's wait two more days. Tested a few guns in Firing range and I really love it!
