my screen has small boxrs that flash black and then back to the game constantly, is this supposed to happen?

Don't talk about the game when you have nothing to say moreover when you don't have enough playtime. All of you are spreading negativity for the new players

hope the game is not expensive so we can buy it instantly like other indie games

Why was this removed? It was a nice touch.

It's possible that this visual effect got lost after switching between different versions and other changes. We'll fix it over time.

Thanks, I always loved the attention to detail this game has, I was sad to see that gone.

They've reduced the requirement twice for leviathans. If anybody in future needs any proof that MOs are rigged this is it.

Not rigged per say, they just noticed it wasn't balanced or even possible so the numbers got adjusted. The original goal was not doable at all.

Just think of the War as a DnD session. The DM allows us freedom to do as we please( like voting on where the DSS goes and how we defend/capture planets) but there are somethings that require some hand holding to get the story going otherwise half the player base will run around aimlessly(if not more so).

TLDR: We have freedom to effect the War but there is some hand holding to guide us along to the next story plot.

Even I, who defend AH a lot of the time from the vitriol that gets spewed on these forums, thinks changing the MO (once without even saying anything), from 3.75 million down to 750k is ridiculous.

All they needed to do was do another MO afterwards saying something like 'the ministry of logistics needs to recalibrate it's kill counters, so we need you to kill 2 billion (or whatever) total enemies in a week and we'll see how many of each are killed so we can make our major orders more accurate in future' and it would have at least been a reasonable adjustment after this travesty of an MO.

If they don't have access to internal metrics to know what kind of numbers of enemies we kill per hour/day (which is frankly insane if true) then they clearly knew we weren't going to achieve it and went ahead with the MO anyway, which is equally absurd.

This entire MO has just been dumb.

They have less than 200 developers currently and every title they've released has garnered praise and been a shining example of what AA games and small developers can accomplish.

Both Hellblade games demonstrated how good games can look while exploring themes and subject matter in a manner that is simply not done in the industry.

All of that while being created by teams that are tiny compared to any other studio around, the first game was made by 20 developers and Hellblade 2 was made with 80. Compare those numbers to any other studio MS owns and you have your answer. Low operating costs and massive returns on investment.

"bait" aff Your reply looks written by an AI, though. And Hellblade 2 was definitely not cheap at all, very far from it! Although it is evident Ninja Theory focused almost all their budget (around 90%) to make pretty graphics and cutscenes and saved way too many costs to make the rest of a game.

I am not using AI, that ♥♥♥♥ is going to be the death of creativity.

Never really paid attention to it, but do retainers even get any XP? I kinda thought they basically have set stats

put a good anti cheat, game is lousy with booster ♥♥♥♥♥ cos of the season badges, they boost up to get a red or yellow rating then toggle off and we get ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ n00bs in our games
