Nope. It only affects things that raise your stats directly AFAIK, so it doesn't work with stuff like EXP boosters, change in % damage dealt/received, odds of proccing effects (like Genji Gloves or Zeus Armor) etc

Also a solo run?! Wow! With who?! Where can I find this?

I'm not sure if the person who went all the way to the last boss in 30F recorded any videos (they used Byakuren), I think they just posted some screenshots on Discord and talked a bit about the run/which were the most challenging/annoying bosses. Most people usually only go up to the final boss of the base game on 20F (not a big surprise with the difficulty spike on regular postgame/early plus disk). I've heard of people using Youmu, Yuuka, Hina, Suika, I think Minoriko and maybe a couple others, though I'm unsure on how far they've gotten on each of them. Chars with some sort of regen helps immensely in such a challenge, with monk/healer being the most used subclasses in the run. I think my personal favorite (recorded) run of the bunch would be one made by LeanAndGreen on Youtube, in which they've used a different char for each of the maingame bosses. Not only that, they've even went the extra mile and adhered to Hard mode rules (at most, they've manipulated gems/training manuals in their favor to min-max their stats/skills).

Two easiest options are usually primal strike or phsyical 2h weapon proc. Should be easy to find guides if you want one.

Get a couple of Gollus rings. Those will carry you to ultimate. From there, it is the same advice as always. Max resists, don't neglect physical mitigation, and stack your own resist reduction.

Gambled fish cause problems at the altar, seems to be a collision issue. Mainly when you get a really big win. I have had fish that almost cant be used for quota because they are too big and knock themselves or other fish out.

I don't disagree with you at all! And loved your description of "five year old rewards"... it's perfect!! :D (Must use that for my next post!)

I didn't see a single thing in the unlocked prize items this event that I will ever use. That has been true of 99% of the other event prizes in FT2 . Up until now it was mostly because the items were "very" Halloween (and not Autumn instead), and "very Easter" (and not spring instead). While I didn't like the unlocks at all in this event... I felt they were a step into a direction of "more possibilities for more people". With 70+% of the planet not considering themselves Christian, and 97% of the planet not being North Americans, the Devs in this game seem very focused on them and few others.

My post was in the hopes of encouraging the Devs to pay attention to the realities of their community; to thank them for doing something other than more North American Christian focused events.
(I say that as a Canadian Christian raised white woman, who happens to love the rest of the world too and would like to see more of it included.)

I talk to adults in this game All The Time and have made friendships that have lasted for years; a lot of retired people seem to play this game, and professionals that enjoy having a place to relax from careers and children and grand children, etc. I don't think I've ever spoken to anyone in this game that is even as young as teens. (Not saying they aren't in here, just saying they don't talk to me if they are.) And yet, the overwhelming trend in FT2 feels like it's catering to those 5 year olds you mentioned. It seems an odd business decision.

FT1 was NICE. I keep wondering if there is some new team working on this game... it's certainly a very different feel. And not necessarily in a good way, yeah?
