Because of this, many players have moved to third-party platforms like FACEIT.
While FACEIT is great, it **divides the CS2 community**.
Casual players stay on MM, competitive players flee to FACEIT – and we end up in two separate ecosystems.

This isn’t what Counter-Strike was meant to be.

Other games have taken bold steps with kernel-level anti-cheat systems (like Valorant), and they’ve seen real improvements.

I still believe Valve can implement a **privacy-respecting** kernel-level solution that keeps CS2 clean **without harming players’ trust**.

We love this game. We want to play it where it belongs — on official servers, without cheaters.

add lgtbq+ 🌈 items and characters please 🌈🌈

I really like the idea of Animal Shelter Game, but there are several issues, especially when I play with my friend. The game keeps crashing, and some animals randomly disappear. Some cats also just stand still and don’t move, even when I try to interact with them. It kind of ruins the experience, especially when you're trying to enjoy the game together.

I hope these bugs get fixed in a future update!

First of all, that whole scene is exposition. Maybe you've heard the term before: a narrative explanation of something. It's not the most elegant way to do it, and I'll be the first to admit that this particular one isn't all that, but...maybe you should consider that when the game was first published, it had been several years since the first and--as ever--the publisher wanted to give a quickie synopsis of what had gone before for the benefit of those who didn't play the original.

Second, I'll admit the "Shep dies and then is brought back to life courtesy of the Lazarus Project" thing is a bit awkward. Just lucky they didn't call it "the Jesus Project," I suppose! But as you might or might not be aware, in the interval between ME and ME2, Bioware teased a short scene of Shep being spaced...the exact scene that concludes the prologue, right before you segue into the Lazarus Project.

In that version, the last thing you see is a title card that says "Commander Shepard: MISSING (PRESUMED DEAD)" So they'd kinda painted themselves into a corner. Maybe they'd planned this all along, maybe not. Either way, they needed to find themselves a can of narrative turpentine, and the rest of the intro is what they came up with.

As to the larger question of "main character worship," it seems to me that it's kinda baked in the cake. If you--and you alone--can save the world/galaxy/universe from utter destruction...you have to be made out to be someone special, right? I mean...as we used to joke around the office, if people ever found out how simple our jobs really are, anyone could do them, and we'd all be reduced to finding honest work.

I'm so sorry for that... I just fixed it. Last night I made a quick update and packaged the game in a subfolder by mistake.

after some updates, because i did not play the game for a while (witch is awaesome) , now when i launch the game it's black screen all along

This error popped up today for me. No issues playing the game yesterday. I've tried everything i can think of, updating steam, updating my computer, restarting the game, steam, computer. I've even uninstalled and re-installed the game and it still wont launch the game. I looked at old forums and even tried a patch-Alder Lake, and that didn't work either. Any advice?
