Performance degradation when playing in a lobby for too long?

Messaggio originale di Vanosea:
Messaggio originale di Puppeteer:
So I've been playing Wilds since launch with no performance issues besides the general "yeah the game doesnt run as well as it could be" but nothing major like lag or stutter.
Until now...
For the past 2 weeks I keep running into the same issue:
-After aprox. 1/2 to 1 hour there is a destinct major lag spike accompanied by an audio glitch
-then the longer I play these spikes pick up in frequency
-then my fps drop from 72 (144 w/ frame gen) to 60 to 50 to 20 to 5
-Restart the game and everythings fine again.
I was going mad troubleshooting
Memory leak? Did my RAM finally give up? Is my new 9070XT a dud? Vram issue?
No I would notice similar errors now in other games but I dont. Did stress tests with OCCT across the board. Hardware is fine.
The only thing that changed was that I started playing in lobbies since the Flamefete Event.
Before I was only playing online singleplayer and joining hunts from there.
So I tested how long I could play solo. 1 hour, 2 hours, 4? nothing. no issue, Smooth as butter.
Does anybody have had the same problem?
If yes how did ya fix it?
Just wanted to chip in because I find your issue interesting. My PC is i9 13900K (yes, THAT garbage CPU. although I managed to solve the issue on mine after lots of tinkering). and RTX2080OC. While my PC does not encounter the same issue as you do, I have a weirdly entirely different set of issue.

1. Whenever I start Wilds from a boot, or after not playing for a long time (while PC not having restarted still), There's always slight stutter here and there that always occur at the same place. But then, as if the "shader" was actually loaded into VRAM or system memory, there is no additional stutter. This stutter is only really a slight one though, I would not count this as a shader caching stutter. It's as if the Shader Cache itself has yet to be loaded into memory. Hence the stutter. But once I close the game or go to that same spot again, the stutter will not be there. It's just an interesting observation and is only a slight annoyance.

2. My game almost always crash within the 1st 2 hours of play. But the weird thing about it is that after that 1st crash, it will NEVER crash again. It is funny how consistent this is. Like one time I crashed 30 minutes into play, then never again in the 5 hours total I did that day. It's just a speculation I have but it might have something to do with the Shader Cache not being loaded into memory properly. And it has a chance of crashing when it pull the Cache from the SSD mid gameplay. Only a theory though, it's like that Doakes staring Dexter meme. I can't prove it... but I have a strong suspicion that it's true...

PS: both of these issues returns after I restarted my PC or leave it for a long time. Again, only strengthenin my suspicion that it's tied to memory management somehow.
