ROFL So funny you blame the Developer for how STEAM downloads the data to you. Or are you unaware that it is not Wildcard that you get the update from? Might want to do some research then come back here with your anger in the right direction. It is not the fault of any game dev that Steam can not correctly handle updates for any Unreal Game Engine game. Icarus, Dune, Stalker all have so many issues when they update. Other day less than a 500MB update took more than 2hrs to complete. No not the download that was done. It is about how Steam works the data after it is downloaded.
Complain to the right people, enough of that maybe Steam stops messing around with Unreal Games. Same complaints were had with ASE too.

Well, the thing is for me I have this issue ONLY with ASE and ASA. Every other game is fine, takes max 10mins to update. Also UE5 games and games that take a lot of disc space.
Really fast fiber connection here as well + ASA is on its own SSD.

Yes it is a STEAM problem, but other companys/other devs get the work done to manage this. WC/Snail is not. And THAT is on their side.

It's almost like if you give in to any of these people's demands they'll take over completley.
