I just wanted to mention that I was ambivalent until I found out Max roams the game. And he does. Not only that but other valley residents talk about Max. I haven't seen that talk yet, but Max did appear randomly near me more than once.

Max walks with this hilarious pony prance. He just kind of walks around, but he does add some smiles to the valley.

As a companion, he will pick up wood and pine cones for you.

When I went to the storybook land, suddenly Max appeared there, also. He was not following me as the companion. I had the blue raccoon assigned as my companion at that time.

Nana the dog also picks up wood and pine cones as a companion. The dancing lion fox picks up fish for you.

For me, Max is worth it simply because he can dig up the cracks that I can't (w/o moving bldgs or pathways) and doesn't leave any dig holes behind! My puppy is WORKING
Plus he has the cutest companion pose ever 💗

What are we Americans going to do? Snail is a Chinese company that was let into the hen house by a group of thieves to get them out of a situation their actions created. Best course of action is to keep praying to Gaben and Steam's automated system in the hopes that they choose morals over money in this instance as well. Shi Hai is Chinese, and the CCP will not remove him from the position unless someone thinks that they can come up with a better way of extracting money from those "idiot westerners". The video game industry, as a whole, sees no issue because all the other companies are doing the same planned obsolescence and minimal engagement to try to extract the most profit.

There are many problems with the AI. But that some random criminals might spray and pray through walls and doors is the least of them. It's worse when your AI team does the same.
