PayPal is now only available in store regions that use EUR, CAD, GBP, JPY, AUD or USD. Anyone else needs to use a different payment method if they wish to buy on Steam.

The fact that none of the "Western" countries is affected leads me to the conclusion that this is most likely a political situation. In case you're living under a rock, the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Iran and the United Arab Emirates) want to get rid of the USD as a reserve currency & create their own for unrestricted business.

So, pretty sure Paypal is gone for you people (forever), the new payment method for BRICS countries is called BRICS Pay. There BRICS Pay app should be already available in the Apple & Google Play store. Pretty sure Valve will (or has to) accept them moving forward if they don't want to miss out on a gigantic chunk of business.

They literally dropped a economical nuke, and yet total silence from the western politicians & media. Guess they are shock frozen, LOL. The US dollar is done, it will be a minority currency in the future, BRICS "dollar" will become the leading currency & the EURO somewhere in between. Yes. If you break line of sight for an extended period and nobody in their group sees you, they'll drop to caution. After a while in caution they'll go back to normal.
