Charging ember to do stuff like random commander is dumb, but as far as the adding a card to deck, well....

I was thinking of writing a huge long writeup giving feedback and suggestions but then I just assumed nobody would look at it or care, and that's probably still true. But I think RIchard is way better than all other commanders because he starts with an ability to do 5 damage in an AOE. And I thought how could you balance it to help other commanders? And then it dawned on me...let us chose, say, somewhere between 1 to 3 cards to start with in addition to starting deck. 1 is probably perfectly fine. And then they can start with like Rain of Arrows if needed and it would help the win rates so much...

I get that maybe not every run is SUPPOSED to be winnable, like Slay the Spire, but it is if you play Richard because he's just OP.

I play more casually now so I care even less, but definitely feels like they cleaned up A LOT of the smurfing/bussing garbage and as a result, competitive is better and more balanced. So probably easier.

What ever money they expected making with this decision, i am not sure it worth the amount of lost sales. I do not like to be taking for a fool. If they want to sell the game for 90EUR? fine. Then better provide a game worth the money, and say that this will be the price. This? Selling the game in parts? Nope, they lost me as a customer, so they better get two people to pay the full 90, to even out.

So just to understand, You're just angry with your loot from the crate?

There are a few spots thats a surefire way to net you some good armor, dont trust blue or redboxes anymore since the dev made the loot pool from them so big you can barely see armor now (funny enough the redbox from Dead Bridge always gives me a Plasma Repeater heh) now the the goodies: is either getting lucky when you have a few lockpicks because you cant crowbar neither the outside lock or the armor locker on a certain cart in rail 9 in depot (kinda safe) ;

Raidind the blue house in slums (make sure to have a shotgun loaded with buckshot if you dont have either a crowbar or a fire axe also make sure to go by the highest entry point of the house you can safely kill the sentry if you didnt made any noise when getting near that entrance, then you shoot the safe door and it can net some nice guys and the Molle armor (dangerous but it will net you tons of stuff);

Last location and easiest one is by the beach just hug the left part of the map and when you arrive some kind of building complex, after the fireplace spot keep going south and check your left theres a hut with a armor locker, just make sure you have a crowbar or youre lucky with lockpicks(safest of them all); [/spoiler]

Some advise to roll back the nvidia driver two updates back if you have the latest (581), but for the sake of a garbage game (which I have already killed 4 hours to fix), I do not want to downgrade the driver version, which would tolerate in all games compilation shaders that would make sure whether it is really a nvidia driver. Let EA deal with it. Just as it worked ♥♥♥♥♥♥, it's still working ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Battlefield 6, I had no problem running it. And here, I can't get into a game I already bought in 2024, but I can't get into 2025 👍

Just tried to record a play through for youtube. Had quite a good start. Then I got to the military checkpoint, which is just north to white house. First, a shotgun despawned right in front of me. Then I couldn't find a card to get into compound. I know that card should be right there, next to generator, on top of A|C unit, but it's not there. Spent about an hour searching every corner of that military checkpoint, couldn't find it.

Do you know what? I give up on this game. Dev keeps adding a new content while none of the existing features work properly. I really enjoyed this game back at 2020, when it was using UE4, game version 0.5.2 I believe it was. Back then it was brilliant and one of a kind. Now, since it's using UE5, it is a complete mess. The only feature I like about the new version is new building objects like custom floors, walls and roofs.

Dev! Stop adding all these new features. Why not using a simple formula - fix one aspect of the game, polish it till the point it is at satisfactory levels, then proceed to next game aspect. Look at building menu, for an instance, there is still an option to make fire wood from logs, but you can't have logs in your inventory because you changed the way you interact with the logs and the way you make fire wood now, and you didn't even bother updating the menu. Trying to hit 20 ducks with a single barrel is not going to put dinner on your table.
