If you fight only slow moving melee troops, cav are for sure gonna confuse them. It's not rocket science why foot troops don't chase after cavs

Exploiting the ai and mechanics is the same as in all games. dull, boring and easy. But normally the ai plays well. It can pretty much control single entities in big formations like the player cannot. But it's also not programmed to use special tactics to counter the players tactics. It plays more realistically than it plays competitively.

I would say that it does an excellent job vs newbies like me who just play casually, if you really know the drill and how to exploit the AI, it´s probably a lot easier. I can´t even win the Felix/Gotrik mission with Halberdiers/Crossbows/Gunners and some magic ... but that´s because I just suck.

Usually they do if they actually put effort into making the different sections and all that.. even these guys have replied to bug reports and stuff like that and I even have interacted with them... but this right here is blatant. they are just flat out ignoring these requests/concerns from the player base. I am gonna wait and see if today's update is gonna change anything or include any of the things that players have been asking for.

If they don't talk about it or engage with the community I would recommend that anyone that is able to return the game do that and I am gonna edit my review and just add a TLDR at the top of DON'T BUY AND SUPPORT DEVS LIKE THIS.

Oh snap.... i did not buy game on release for several reasons, look at it yday to see if its going better, but this, its just huge turn off for me, i do remove it from wish list.

I can get lack of communication in this matter from AAA companies because they... umm... sucks, but not form small indie devs, dissapointed.

UPDATE: I HAVE SLAIN THE DRAGON.

Method used: There's a switch in the forge that summons a random battle featuring the automatons, the very same ones that drop parts when defeated. Since it's technically a hallway fight, you get the parts guaranteed. (They don't drop if you open a chest.)

Farm to get all 6 parts, sell them to the Dwarven weapon-smith, and use the tool he gives you to slay the dragon.

I wonder what the other methods are... Ah well! That's for someone else to figure out!
I never finished exploring the bottom floor, either, but that's an exercise in suffering I'll let someone else take on, as well.

I use Windows 7 Compatibility Mode and Run as Administrator on the executable.
Game runs fine on Windows 11 for me.
Never deleted a file or tried using the beta version.
Hopefully I can help others with this solution.
FPS is fine (max all the time on my system).
