Soft armor they would still probably die, but any modern plate carrier you'd feel the chest punch of the impact so you might crack a few ribs, but nothing would go through.

On top of that, and that is ignoring the plethora of outlandish claims you have made to avoid tackling the subject in good faith (there are valid reasons to criticise Trails localisations in the West, some that you have brought up in the thread, that are unfortunately masked by the 90% of nonsense you've been spewing), you are grasping at the tiniest, most insignificant cherrypicked examples that are unrelated to Trails in the Sky to fuel your discourse. And that is when you do not create fictional scenarios in your head, because you are incapable of conceding a point to your opposition or having a sane debate.

You keep misunderstanding what the job of a localiser is. It is to localise by translating + modifying subtext for it to be suitable and understandable to foreign gamers (that is indeed their job). That is what they are paid to do. NIS is aware of this, Falcom is aware of this. It does not take more than a simple Google search to start tearing massive holes in your argumentation. Because your preconceived notion of what a localisation team's job is is fundamentally incorrect.

Lastly, this thread is not about localisation quality. It is about keeping the terminology consistent with the rest of the series, given the new publisher. At the time of this thread's creation there was no information about whether old terminology would remain or not. Why are you bringing NIS's localisations of an entirely different sub-series, whilst throwing unwarranted spoilers left and right? What does this contribute to the discussion?
