Armored Core has a lot more customization both in terms of the mechas and weapons with a more gradual skill progression. It still throws you into the thick of it, but by the time you're done with the first mission you'll have a good grasp of it.

The problem with Mecha Break is the basic tutorials are just point and shoot with an occasional bit of moving around. Then the advanced ones are just designed to completely f you up. Learn through failure works for some people, others find it annoying and unhelpful.

I started playing in defence and I got pretty good results. I guess it's the only way for solo player to play because conceding a goal a lot worse than not scoring. So try Goalkeeper/defender roles.

I believe it comes down to the priority assigned to certain bugs, and that the bugfixing team is focused on the issues with highest impact to the game and community at the moment. My feeling is that it will be taken care of eventually, but given limited resources and the complexity of SCUM it simply has not been fully addressed. This is exactly what happens in my real life job; it is the harsh reality of complex assignments. Fishing was working a while ago, something caused this bug and they will track it down. Hopefully soon.

Fishing still works just fine but you need a structure above water or a boat of some kind otherwise you need to be standing in water which will cause foot trench I found fishing above bridges quite efficient but just doesn't make sense about why I cant do it from land properly.. I hope they find the resources to invest a bit towards fixing that bug that exists for entire years and pretty sure thousands of people experience it so far and lost their fishing equipment in a unfair way

Can I ask about wdym by balance melee classes? I feel like all characters are viable. It's more about team synergy and those characters that synergies better will have an easier time.

I haven't played this game, but from the footage that I saw, the NPCs' animation transitions are very choppy and there are no facial animations. It makes it look like the animation level of 2011's Payday: The Heist. Do the developers intend to implement facial animations in this game?

It'd be neat if there were maps with spider lairs, with webs and stuff. Preferably they would be accurate webs (see These are the Spiders in your House on YT for a few examples). Love to see the new weapon models! I'm glad they look less like blobs, with distinguishable details. Will the characters be stuck in one position on the platforms or be able to articulate?
