Aside from the fact that you're just objectively wrong, Battlefield 1942's large scale combined arms mode was predominately Conquest, the mode where people run around in circles ghostcapping and doing everything they can to avoid shooting the enemy team. Modern Battlefield games are built around Breakthrough, which is the complete opposite of Conquest (people actually play the game). Cramming 128 players into one or two small areas of a map is obviously a bad idea and 128 player Breakthrough was borderline unplayable in 2042.

I'm not wrong, BF 1942 was designed for 128 players, supports up to 255, and was released in 2002.


As for the rest of your opinion, just admit you're more of a cod fan - It's fine.

What do you mean "know"? Eclipse quest is unavoidable, it's basically the only actual tutorial in this game. It's logical to check anything that looks like heavy armor because it offers the best mitigation. Some tournaments also offer great armor and accessories as rewards. Passives with damage mitigation are obvious. You can check skills of heroes during dialogue, and Riq is the only one that has -20% injury as unique passive. Besides, it's necessary only during New Game+ and at least average difficulty. You don't need strategic thinking because main character can become very strong in this game. Just explore the game and try everything. I don't understand what can require a lot of grinding if you aren't trying to get full eclipse gear for your entire team. Of course, you can get more heroes and a full army for sieges, but in many quests you will fight alone anyway. The only thing that actually requires knowledge is Tasha's quest because you should know where to get an item necessary to trigger it.

These idiots never will but i get you bro they all have Stockholm syndrome just ignore them, bard was initially supposed to be a support class (when it was introduced the game had no solo's) and at that point it was pretty weak as solo but then they added solo's and then suddenly they had to change the class so it was good as solo too and ever since then it's been broken as f*ck for those who know how it play it and which stats to concentrate on but too many big voices in the community use that class it for easy boss fights and better chance for unique so they defend it with their lives and it never gets nerfed for long. Same goes for warlock too that class has the same special protections by the community because it can basically cheese just about every boss fight as a solo

Yeah because the 50 luck perk really makes a MASSIVE difference....
