Bun
I don't have a lot of hours in the game, so maybe my word doesn't mean as much. But from someone who has decades of experience in video games in general, I can say pretty confidently: Survivors do actually have it pretty bad.

But it isn't the Killer's fault, it's not Lightborn's fault (which is what you seem to be the most upset about, lbr) and nerfing any number of perks isn't going to fix it. More likely than not, it's your team's synergy that's the problem.

If you have a SWF group, that's different. You're with your friends, you've probably got coms going, you have builds that mesh and roles to take things on strategically or just for fun. However you as a group are doing it. And I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about the solo que.

If three players are rushing the Killer, chain-unhooking and putting themselves right in the path of them only to get downed again... And you're the fourth player who wants to play with stealth and strategy instead of getting two hooks 2 minutes into the game? You're not going to be able to effectively play how you want to. Your best option would literally be to find the hatch and hope for the best next time.

And that's not even considering solo ques that will join a game as survivor to literally only sabotage the other Survivors. New Killers can't recognize that as easily. It took me a good hundred hours to be able to even start spotting troublemakers.

If you decide you want to rush the Killer with a flashlight and scoodle around in a chase, but the rest of your team is more objective focused instead of off-hooking you or exposing themselves to hooks, you're probably not going to have a great time no matter what perks the Killer has because the majority is not abiding by your play style.

And that's honestly no one's fault. Solo que'ing is always a gamble, and while all kinds of things play a part, from skill to luck to addons and perks, an enormous part of the solo experience is who you're playing with. I recently had a 3 minute tunnel chase with a Springtrap (so much fun) at the start of a game. When he finally hooked me, I looked down and... Not one gen had been completed. Because the rest of the team decided it would be fun to Stevegull around until they were downed too. And then we all died.

You're allowed to be upset about it and get frustrated. You're allowed to endure it, or leave the game if it's something you don't like. Of course you are. The problem isn't with Killers.. Rven if you strip Killers of every perk, it's not going to fix the cooperative problems of a random lobby you can't communicate in.

Thank you for coming to my DBDtalk.
