Why does it take super long to create a wooden floor tile (like 5 - 10 minutes) where as a building takes 30 secs to 1 minute? I don't have exact times but damn...

I was playing with a guy last night on console and we unfortunately had no way to friend each other. We went all the way through seven portals together, and I think it was his first time playing. He was loving every minute of it though.

Using a guide is no better. I've beaten Hexen without ever looking up any help whatsoever.

I played the ♥♥♥♥ out of Hexen back on the N64 many many times. I even played it with a source port a few years ago. But I never managed to beat it until going through the remaster. I have a great attention to detail, but some things are so obtuse and unobvious that it would take lots of time to notice what subtle differences happen; or what hints it drops.

I am currently going through Death Kings for the first time as well and absolutely loving it. I like the notion of the X markers on the map screen, without it being so obvious about what you have to do. The puzzle elements still exist and you still have to have good observation to notice some things that change at the pull of a switch. It's not for a simple once over playthrough, at least not without a guide of some sort.

Hexen was and will always remain a old favorite in both the past and present, into the future. And even moreso now that I have beaten it without any guides.

Would love to send it to you, but can't find said file. My windows is set to german, never been able to start the game since I bought it.
My specs are: Win 10 pro 64bit, i7 7700 @ 3.60 Ghz, 32 Gb ram, Gforce RTX 4060 ti.
Game starts into the Title screen, title disappears, than seems to stuck on loading.
Will test using an older beta now.

Edit: reverting back to 0.2 Legacy lets the game start. Now for trying out using the newest update.

Edit2: opting out of beta again results again in a no start.

This was in 2018, with the uptick of streamers, hacking has only gotten worse.

In R6 siege as a mother fps, they have banned 530k+ accounts since april. The concurrent player base is around 120k, lower on pc where most the hackers are.
