Working on a hotfix for the UI, scrolling and FoW issues in DE. You can expect it soon.

Also, we have an updated installation guide to replace the pre-release version. It goes as follows:

Step #1
Uninstall all Legacy Dawn of War games.
Step #2
In the following directory, create a “Mods” folder and - within that - an “Ultimate Apocalypse” folder:

Windows
C:\Users{username}\AppData\Roaming\Relic Entertainment\Dawn of War\

Linux
/steamapps/compatdata/3556750/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Roaming/Relic Entertainment/Dawn of War/

Step #3
Run the installer and install to the “Ultimate Apocalypse” folder that you created.
Step #4
Run the Tyranids installer to the same “Ultimate Apocalypse” directory. Open the browser prompts for FreeUI and ObjectivePoints ModDB downloads, at the end of the Tyranids installation.
Step #5
Download and install FreeUI and ObjectivePoints to the same “Ultimate Apocalypse” directory.

FAQ

• Installing to your base DE directory would appear not to work for all users.
  
• If you cannot find “AppData”, either enable hidden folders, or press Windows+R and type %appdata%.
  
• The old mod managers are now superfluous and can be deleted.
  
• We are aware that DE has introduced various visual bugs. Please refer to the Bug Report thread in tech-help and post your issue if it isn’t already noted.
  
• Both the Campaign and Skirmish are reported to work in UA. Multiplayer has issues in vanilla, which are also evidently present in UA, which might be fixed in upcoming post-release patches from Relic.

Ha! I knew the issue was with having it detect legacy installs...

It used to be the Sandman Cleaver combo, but compies ruined it as per usual.

When I start the game it show the Mythwright logo page; then the page where the square orbits the circle; then it crashes and opens the Crash Reporter. Here is what it said last time:

I tried but I give up, maybe I'm way too clumsy for this piece. It is the only thing that won't work for me.

Don't get me wrong. I turn alot of stuff I don't like or use off (Tougher Creatures and Robots, Environmental stuff.). But I love the Basic Needs, Ships Systems and the Economy/Scarcity stuff.

The final achievement I’m missing I obtained in Ubisoft connect but it didn’t unlock in Steam like the rest of them, for 100% synchronization of Dead Kings dlc. If I start a new save file and get full sync on dlc again would the achievement pop? Or is it impossible since I’ve already obtained it in Ubisoft connect?

I have a similar problem - I completed all Social Club Missions and the achievement "An Old Internet Meme" unlocked only on UBI Connect and not on Steam.

Come on, UBI...

maybe they decide to going back on allowing achievements on steam
