I have a hard time getting excited about the same monsters simply getting another star difficulty... watch the next update, when Uth Duna will be... OMFG!!! TEN STAR DIFFICULTY OAO!!!! Like yea... that's not what I play MH for.

You still simply autotrack from one monster to the next. The fights remain the same, just more HP now. You still never see turf wars cause they happen outside your vicinity all the time. Like... iunno man.

The game has clear problems and a few missions won't change that. They just keep on boosting the same Apex monsters over and over and over and over. Meanwhile, my man Rathalos gets no respect.

I'll wait till the next title update and hunt a bit in Iceborne instead or check other stuff out. I still think Wilds is a good game for its campaign and to go through the endgame content once. But a prolonged grind in this game I find unnecessary. You don't need to track anything or navigate anything. Everything is being done for you automatically. It's kinda boring. There is no feeling of adventure here or of accomplishment.

I'll try to check in whenever actual new content is released - and no, I don't count increases in the number of stars as such :v But overall, I'm checked out of base Wilds now. See you all in the title update~

You modified an internal Windows file and caused a BSOD. Your CPU was overloaded for too long, resulting in IRQ creating too many errors and crashing your PC. The only solution, if you don't know where the problem came from, is to reinstall Windows with a USB key in clean mode!

Knockt's stalling potential got nerfed? Oh no. Anyways, back to smacking people in the face with the bow.

Errr... No. I prefer 1,000 Banishers than this game. Everything about Banishers is 1,000 times better than this game.

A lot of times I was getting hit by the enemy and I didn't even see their combat animation in Echoes of the End, they didn't even move their arm and it wasn't range damage.

The only thing I liked about Echoes of the End was the puzzles, but that wasn't enough for me to keep the game because the combat is really bad.

Doesn't really mean he can't like it, I plan on getting the game when I can, but multiple patches will be released by time I can afford the game so I'm hopeful for a more stable game when I pick it up. As for banishers, I got it in this months humble choice and will try it out when I get around to it.

Ultimate Bunny was free for me—no purchase necessary. I got her through one of the Season Attendance campaigns, where logging in daily counted toward a voucher box. This mechanic has appeared in multiple seasons, including the Winter Festival event, where 14 cumulative logins earned you a full Ultimate Bunny Research Material Bundle. I also picked up her parts while grinding for other stuff, so I didn’t need to craft her from scratch unless I wanted extras. There was another Descendant voucher I unlocked through Season 2 points around last Christmas/New Years, and unlocked Valby that way.

Toward the end of Season 2, there was another attendance box that let you choose between UB and Hailey—I cashed mine in for gold since I already had both. I’ve still got a couple of Descendant vouchers left for regular Descendants (minus Keelan, Ines, Hailey, and Serena). Thinking Luna and Yujin for those, unless I notice at some point that I have grinded and got materials for their parts, but I think some general materials are shared among all Descendant parts, so intending to unlock ultimate versions at this point.

My grinding momentum picked up after watching builds from creators like OrneryBiscuit, Moxsy, The Full Measure, and Low Budget Gaming. Their builds are solid, but tweaking them to match my play style made a huge difference. Once I started customizing for survivability and synergy, I noticed I wasn’t dying as much—even on Hard Difficulty. For example, Lepic was my first character, and while he struggled early on, strafing like it’s Doom Eternal helped me solo Void Vessel runs (started that initial void vessel solo mission with a Level 16 reactor and "upgraded" it with a Level 45 the first time I died there, which got him to the boss, died a bit, which brought me to the content creators lol). Once I powered him up, he started plowing through Hard Mode.

Still chasing Ultimate Lepic, though. I unlocked Serena, Freyna, and Hailey along the way, and bought Ines and Keelan—only to realize I could’ve just waited and unlocked them for free while grinding. Leveling Descendants to 40, resetting them to 1, and repeating the cycle with upgraded Level 100 Reactors and External Modules has been the real game-changer. Whether you follow content creator builds or go full custom, it’s all about finding what fits your rhythm.

I’ve taken breaks from the game, so I missed out on some freebies like weapon skins (still salty about missing the Albion Cavalry skin that looked straight out of G1 Transformers). Lesson learned: even if you’re not actively playing, it’s worth logging in occasionally to check campaign rewards. Also, check Nexon’s site and Twitch Drops—they sometimes promote limited-time events that aren’t obvious in-game.

You only find them in purple systems and you'll need to complete the In Stellar Multitudes mission to have access to them.
