I got only a few minutes into the demo before I had to stop because I started getting motion sick. I'm not sure what changes were made between Everdream Valley and Everdream Village, as I was able to play Everdream Valley with no issue. I'm also not sure if anyone else experienced this, but I wanted to highlight it just in case.

Hey Kayla, was the dot in the center in the screen helping you with motion sickness in Everdream Valley? I think I could easily ask the developers to maybe even implement it in this demo quickly (no promises though, as they're swaaaarmed with work) :)

I think they did it all wrong.
! - invasions should had been adjusted per host lvl "and weapon lvl" (like at DS3 and ER).
The way it was before the updates host could be invaded by maxed player but now any invader, even very low lvl invaders, can invade maxed out hosts (what seem now to be the majority of hosts and coop parties, maxed weapons on maxed out or high lvl characters, so the situation just got inverted).
This inverted situation bring invasions to a point where I can see people actually invading "only when char is high lvl and with maxed weapons"

2 - invasions should always have a cooldown (granted cooldown) of at least some 20min (as it would eliminate any bad luck of being invaded after just a few minutes from previous invasion) but I think 30min would do good to grant some progress into the game despite invasions and greatly reducing the usage of mirrors and vestige seeds.

3 - opt-out invasion should not be the default option, it should had been "opt-in" as default and defs should had added a message ingame that could show every time the player entered online "You are playing online mode and will eventually be invaded, if you dont want invasions you can opt-out of invasions at the menu" so no one would be taken by surprise neither playing the game different from what they want.

I never realy bothered with invasions (being in or out) and I play for my single player experience.

Given how the game could cause issues with the character save when playing coop (from what i read at the forum) I never tried to help anyone in coop and it is rare for me to try to invade (at every Souls and souls-like) but I think devs implemented the whole thing in the worst possible way because "opt-out being default" automatically remove new players that dont know the game has invasions or dont know what it is, be it new players new to souls-likes or new players new to Lords of the Fallen 2023.
The "opt-out" being the default automatically exclude people out of the queue, even those that would not mind to be invaded (myself) and those that would like to be invaded .

Believe it or not I agree with all of this.

Shame he wouldn't know about #2 from experience especially when he's stating it like it's a new idea and the Souls didn't already have this timer or similar. That's what fingering yourself in DS3 disabled.

Maybe we can toggle to new or old design for all cats? That would be great.

i have had this issue since beta opened up this morning and have spent the last 12 hours trying every suggested fix i could find in that time and nothing has worked.

I literally tried everything. Every game runs perfect on Ultra settings for me. Do you have a 1440p screen? I'm looking for similarities.

Only trade items - have got many more cases and stickers in storageunits, if you interested just ask - dont wast anyones time by trying to scam

All upcoming shooters like COD etc are using secure boot now, it is what it is

I should also add to the above that not only do you get Golden eggs for beating death you get an egg for each guardian you take down when collecting Metaglio and rings so potential for up to 8 Eggs per run (Death drops 4).

I'm not 100% certain at time of writing if Red Deaths only drops eggs the first time a character beats it but I do know the guardians drop them every time no matter what.

In regards to eggs, you are way better farming gold and buying them. Sure there is a seeming spot in Abyss Foscari, but it still pales massively to gold buying.

True I always find I go for the ring set anyway so always get the four guardians drop. Good point though!
