I think this one is much better then the previous one (2042) it sucked and they listened to the community finally.

But i do notice a lot players are from COD with their slide and not working as a team / squad and going lone wolf style, it isn't COD and please go back there then and stop being a kiddo with those negative reviews lol it really shows who the COD players are and who knows battlefield and how to play it!

I see i think 7/10 squads that do NOT revive each other, even if you NOT A MEDIC you can REVIVE your SQUAD MEMBERS!!

I also see ppl say it's a bit like COD, there was only 1 "large" map and the another 2 are more infantry based maps and next weekend they have like 1 extra map ( i think also large )

But some choke points they need to adjust and it feels like a decent battlefield game for me.

I also notice ppl complain about Secure boot but it is 2025 and it should have been on already and soon with Windows 11 you gonna need it as well !

those ppl don't know how and what and i saw a "software developer" ( it's not a IT technical, it's a software developer ) that had wasted 2 hours, i fixed it in like 30 mins if you know what you are "actual" doing

Most of these ppl don't know and just switch something on and have no idea what they are doing and especially not how to "fix" it or troubleshoot it even and fix it within a decent time period.

it's gonna be on COD as well the new one, all kernel ( it's 2025... huh ) maybe some old pc's don't have TPM and even can use secure boot since they are old systems.

Microsoft created lots of e-waste because of it and we all need it soon in Windows 11 as well and future games too ( more games will be doing it )

I think this BF6 is good but still several bugs into it ( like the gadgets disappear ) and some choke points need to be fixe and prefer some more old veteran BF maps like Metro or Strike at karkand, Golf of Oman, Wake Island and those maps needs a remastered.

Some of them have players with 100ish hours + on just 1 / 2 maps specific of a BF... like BF2 or 3 or 4 and they really need to "remaster" those

The best thing Battlefield could do right now is get rid of the scum that are trying to tarnish this games good name.

Limit snipers, get rid of the dumb campers that contribute to nothing other than their lame K/D that doesn't even do anything for the game. I still remember the day I got first place on the leaderboard on Battlefield 4 with only EIGHT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ KILLS. It was because I was a medic with good revives, AND I was playing the objective almost the whole game. Hell I pulled something similar on 2042 even, and that game is terrible. Kills have never truly mattered on Battlefield, it has ALWAYS been an objective based game (unless of course you are playing one of the other gamemodes like TDM that they have now).

Find a way to somewhat enforce team gameplay, or at least encourage it. For instance; if you work as a squad (capturing objectives with squad mates, or reviving them, something) you get bonus XP or something. Or maybe some type of achievements or rewards for working as a team.

I get wanting to compete with other FPS games like CoD, because you want to stay big in that space, and that is fine... But it's not true competition if you're just ripping off the other games assets and play styles and basically advertising "LOOK! We can do this better!"... That is not what battlefield is. Battlefield has always been unique in its own way. And personally I think its CoDs fault this is happening, because they literally started this when they made Warzone in MW2019, and now it's just a big d*ck measuring contest between the developers and even right down to the community now, and it's honestly just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sad.

Battlefield 6 was advertised and is supposed to be the game that goes back to it's roots... You're half way there. Make Battlefield what it should be, and has always been!

Yes, the game works on Steam Deck, played it myself the entire "requests section" of the game. Works pretty well!

From what I've been able to scrounge up, Japanese fans seem to be okay with the game. Or at least not collectively mad about it

1. Story & worldbuilding : Well received. Japanese reviewers liked the seamless story-to-hunt flow and the feeling that the environments were alive and reactive

2. New systems: Things like Seikret travel, Focus Mode, and better weak-point feedback got positive feedback for making hunts smoother and cutting downtime

Valve needs to take swift action and introduce a review mechanism similar to YouTube’s, to ensure the authenticity and validity of reports.

YouTubes has been horrible for a long time and has been completely abused. Unless they finally rolled out an update, it would be identical.

This just happened to me. Got a black screen when trying to use the portal to Magma floor 2. Hope there's a fix one day. Lovely game otherwise!
