Anyone that didn't refund is nuts. The old project was completely scrapped, and the new one was announced as being done by a completely new studio, with almost no information on what they planned to do. No trailers or dev diaries or anything.

Not refunding is like giving someone $60 and them saying "I'll give you something later, you won't know what it is though".

I adhere to the principle of the proverb of my region "If it doesn't ask for food, then to hell with it"

And 25 dollars is not such a big money

In general, if a game attracts me, I try to pre-order it, but if it does not live up to my expectations - I have already paid the money, the work (whatever it was) is done by the developer

I do not want to slide into comparisons like "If you ordered food for 60 bucks and you did not like it, will you run to demand a refund?"
And in the context of "did not like" I do not mean its quality, but your taste preferences

Thread necromancy here. I am having the same issue. When I turn in the contract, it never gets acknowledged, and I am stuck in an endless loop of 0/2 contracts completed. Any assistance would be most appreciated.

I ask for the same, not all keyboards have the proper key placement that this game asks for, mine can only type the ":" if I press shift first meaning I'm pretty much unable to play this thing unless I set it to auto.

Mine have this same case with ":".

would you rather have performance fixed or working mods? they are in the process of updating the game engine to 5.5.4 so you and your mods need to fck off instead, game performance is more important

Am I the only one who feels like he played an april fools ending?
All that build up and THIS is what we get?
I think the most infuriating thing was Dr Cahn mocking us for helping him and not noticing he is a shapeshifter. We DID notice. The game has beaten us over the head over and over again with that information.

No payoff for the sister of the unlost character.
No conclusion for the night realm, even after all the info teasing in the order archives.
The random secret facility you teleport into, without any further explanation.
The random timetravel to the far future of the facility being a nothingburger.
No explanation why GATE leadership would torch and burn their own facility instead of salvaging irreplacable equipment, research objects and science personell? Doctors do not grow on trees.

Yeah the ending ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucked. I'm mad. I won't be if they continue the story. But if that's all there is, I disavow this game entirely. Jesus ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ christ. I'd have always recommended AF prior to now. Now I can't wash my hands of it fast enough.

It's still a great survival game though. I don't think the ending undoes everything that came before.
