you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. no idea what means your "asbi level 4" but i will assume its asbi rng4. so on asbi rng4, especially rng4c2, you get trillions of enemies spammed at you along with explosions from them. do i have to tell you that in such conditions its significantly harder to not deal friendly fire with above mentioned weapons (grenade launcher and flamer if you forgot)? do i have to tell you about random explosive barrels all around the map? that those barrels can be obstructed by walls so you sometimes cant even see them? do i have to tell you, that rng4 players are still human and make mistakes, especially at such high difficulty where its literally impossible to not make mistakes?

oh and since i barely ever see you playing any asbi challenge, and taking into account what you just posted, i can safely claim that you have no idea what kind of people play asbi challenges, be it asbi level 4 of yours or even the simplest asbi.

asbi community mostly consists of ego children in 30 years old or so bodies. i even mentioned it in an earlier post. people start playing asbi and think they are now gods of the game, like you, by the way. they make stupid decisions, ignore other's guidance and keep on doing stupid ineffective stuff, regardless of difficulty. sure there are some decent and even good and awesome players. but there are also tons of massive idiots that plague the highest difficulties.

why do you speak about something you have no knowledge or proper experience of? you seriously expect above mentioned idiots to know about proper teamplay and actually effective decisions?

also everyone is free to join high difficulty lobbies once they reach like level 20 or so, so basically like 5 hours in game at most. and such people do indeed join high difficulty challenge lobbies and stay. dont know what gives you the idea that the only people playing this stuff are all elite level gamers. the videos i provided all speak otherwise.

Ignorance of the facts is not doing you (or others) any favors. The issue is not Secure Boot, it's Ring-0 kernel level driver anti-cheat, which is NOT better than other methods it's just CHEAPER. This and data harvesting are the ONLY reasons game publishers use it.

A Ring-0 kernel level driver is a SINGLE POINT OF COMPLETE FAILURE once it or its signature is hacked it's game over, and not just any and every cheat can then be effortlessly run on the system, flip-bit BIOS malware can be injected (that can never be undone) and your system becomes a cheat and malware host for every and anything, and neither an Administrative account, Javelin AC, or Microsoft security can see it because it's running from Ring-0.

If you think this is far-fetched, or unlikely, your way too late in your awareness of the situation regarding cheats, cheat protection, and malware exploits., Ring-0 kernel level drivers have already been exploited, and it's just a matter of time for Javelin if it hasn't happened already.

I made sure to update the game to version 7448 and try different settings.
I can see that it is different (for the better), but it still doesn't "solve" the issue.
Surfaces with direct light are still way too bright, and the dark corners have some weird static effect. I really think an option to disable dynamic lighting would help, since turning Effects to Low doesn't seem to do anything to help with this.

Disabling dynamic light would make the performance much worse and look absolutely abysmal; that's why we disabled that.

Am I correct that you have a GPU without raytracing? Because that makes things darker in the game from my experience.

I personally love the lighting (although I also find some parts very dark), but if more similar reports are received, maybe later you could consider adding a color filter setting, like for example in Satisfactory ("Global Illumination Lighting Mood")?
