Feedback for Palworld

Schematics & Cosmetics

-Upgradeable cosmetic hats (e.g., Witch’s Hat, Penking Hat, Raid Hats) to Level 4, making them viable as combat helmets.

-More **player & Pal customisation** (dyeable Pals, layered cosmetic outfits via Mirror/Dresser).

Production & Base Management

-Toggle button** for Mining Nodes/Ranches to disable work without deleting them.

-More **wood types or uses**—currently becomes irrelevant mid-game or a stack of 10k

-Refrigerated Crushers** could work **with/without Pals** (possibly via Coolers) to save base slots. Maybe Pals give bonus speed but not necessary.

-Heaters/Coolers** could passively affect nearby structures (e.g., fridges, feed boxes). I think few people actually use and build in cold or hot. Maybe with lower bonus/decay rates.

Breeding Pen- Option for Pals to store Eggs in a chest. So breeding can continue non-stop, especially on Dedicated Servers.

Research Tree Improvements

-Electricity research feels unnecessary (strong Electric Pals trivialise it). Power Costs need a boost. 1 lvl 5 Electric can power a whole base with 2 actuators, prob even 1. Most bases arnt running everything at once, so I almost never invest in this tree, no point.
Add **Skill Fruit research** (e.g., +5% double harvest chance).

-Handiwork research** should boost production (e.g., extra nails).

-Medicine tree** is underwhelming (Cavern Mushrooms are tedious especially when needed for bait)

-Replace **generic "Tips" nodes** with tree-specific bonuses. No one researches these until late when their bonus dont matter except really for Raids

-Mining Research Nodes that increase how much resource your Mines can hold. 9999 to maybe 20k, then 30k.

-A node in Kindling to have a chance to get double Oil. Make the Oil nodes 30 and 40% and the last node a Double Production 5 or 10% chance. Oil is so slow, this at least will make it not too slow. Oil can be a roadblock.

-Dedicated Breeding Tree** (reduce hatch/breeding time, trait inheritance, etc.). This would allow the egg nodes to be made more tree focused in the other trees. Breed tree costs could be in Pal Eggs “4 common eggs, 2 dragon eggs” Forces exploration.

-Bartering Tree** for better buy/sell prices.

-Maybe a Raid Tree? Defensive Weapon platforms use less ammo, or chance to not consume ammo. All the Base Pal dmg and defence nodes could go in this tree. Pals get defence boost while on a platform. For this tree though, you would want to buff RAID bosses, and RAID patrols.

Balance & QoL

-Coin Assembly Machine** is OP (suggest **5-10 Ingots per 100g**). Add a setting to adjust gold economy in world settings. Gold is a little Too OP at the moment. Trivialises the game. Need an entire re-balance. Or just slow it right down.

-Remove Map Fog of War** + shared vision with guild members (optional world setting).

-Drafting Table at Level 1 (low-tier schematics are useless late-game, this would create natural progression early on).

-Better Tooltips, especially on Console. ex: How much more stuff does Jellroy cause to be found, actually numbers.

-Allow Ability glasses while on to show Pal IVs in the info window as you go through your palbox instead of having to VIEW DETAILS. This makes searching through box a lot cleaner and quicker.

-On schematics, when you hover over them in your inventory, it would be nice if an info box was there to show their stats at that rank. Saves having to run to a bench and look at build menu for it.




Pals & Combat
-Splatterina**: Let her Partner Skill boost **Pal Disassembly drop rates** in bases. Makes her more base useful. Hand butchering is so slow and not worth the time.
-Higher-tier schematics for old weapons** (e.g., Rocket Launcher 5) to keep them viable, keeping player choice when they find the schematic.
-Armor skins/transmog** to retain preferred looks or armour, or new outfits (summer look, halloween, etc etc)

Miscellaneous
-Snappable defensive walls** to foundations.
-Detailed stat breakdowns** (e.g., HP/weight gain per point, damage scaling for attack points). More info for player, especially on console with lack of Mods.
-Sick Pals** should become incapacitated if untreated, maybe there are stages of sickness (encourages survival prep).
-Clear heat/cold resistance thresholds for zones (e.g., why does Vanwyrm overheat riders?).
