Oh thank goodness, I had to do a Personality saving throw every damn time I saw it.
Lost every time, kept having to play with a massive debuff to Mood and Patience.

You're a weird person for thinking target numbers wouldn't dynamically change just like percentages do. At this point I have to assume you're just arguing to argue, we're done.

No need to be an expert of GUI, create any polls etc to clarify it.
And its exactly what you want, right, with dynamic number. 0 info, just number you need to roll.
You dont even know what bonuses, advanteges or disadbantages you have there. Just number, no %. If you think its perfect solution, then fine. I said above, I wouldnt mind this an option. But its totally not fine for masses. Thats another reason why this game is popular, because its made for masses, not for D&D fans only.

I've watched a few videos of players diving down on enemies and destroying them will a single well-aimed burst. But when I try this, it usually fails miserably. Even when I've got the altitude advantage and I come down and fire a ton of rounds into where the lead indicator is...no dice...my target just doesn't die. I've tried turning on vertical targeting and turning it off, using tracer rounds and non-tracer rounds, nothing seems to help. Am I just doing something wrong?

Also conversely, when I pill out of a dive and I think I've got a good speed advantage to outrun any pursuers, it seems like that just doesn't work. There's almost always some bandit who locks onto my tail and no matter what I do I can't outrun them.

A few rare instances aside, I've never had much of a problem coordinating with my squads. They generally want a rally so they don't have to run as far. Most like operating with communicative squad mates. It's the whole appeal of this game vs Battlefield/RS/COD.

There are sometimes loners and new players that have yet to grasp the squad concept but by and large it's worked for me well.
