And I don't think it's even an emulator wrapper since the game is 4GB, I think they really took the original code and converted into Unity

RCG0 is about that size and it includes a ROM for each language of the game, though.

Difference is that was made in the "Carbon Engine" which is very explicitly a multi-system emulator wrapper

like what sets this game apart from Dead Cells, Blasphemous, Celeste, and countless other similar games? I know celeste doesn't have action combat but platforming looks 100% identical to Hollow Knight.

You go to this discussion page or the trailer on youtube for silksong and people are acting like it's the greatest thing they've ever seen. i'm not one to judge something just because i'm not a fan of it or question other peoples interests, i just genuinely do not understand the hype. it's like if there was a new flavor of american cheese and the entire internet blew up in celebration over it.

I think GTA is mostly boring, barring probably GTA4. I don't understand the hype behind it, but I love watching gamers have fun.

It is not for me. In the same way I think this game is probably not for you. What determines that I have no idea.

The new vehicle can fit in some of the smaller gaps in Eastern/Western shield wall where a buggy can't fit through (and the roundabouts are somewhat long) so it could be good.

Ornithopters don't have cutteray so they kinda suck at resource farming in Hagga Basin. The new vehicle could bridge the gap between them..
