Nids would be very cool indeed, only 4thED army still missing, which makes it awkward. Also 10 is a better number than 9.

The problem of the shotgun isn't the damage, if you allow someone that close you should indeed die.
It's the range, especially with the unlockable munition type, makes no sense.

Makes perfect sense that when you replace pellets for a slug you get more range....

People seem to have this idea that shotguns only tickle past like 5ft... and it's silly. Shotguns are deadly at a decent distance, and even more so with a solid slug.

I know it very well, you are talking real life scenario, we are talking GAMES.
If a weapon is that good has to be nerfed, simple as that. Limiting the range and keeping the damage gives it a role... like any other weapon in the game.

Oh it gets worse... It only works in one direction, and you can't select what's being transferred. It's just a hook for the mining and commerce feature that didn't make the release. That's why I'm convinced we'll get a mining and commerce DLC. But if Willny's mod can include fixing the transfer container as a conduit for accessing the distribution unit... Pure gold. I'll buy it.

Yeah I think I tried once going the opposite direction because it was kinda pointless when I was carrying enough ore it would not all fit in the ship anyways.

Which is where I think supply permanent links would be better.

I liked the concept of attempt I did at trying to do nothing but do the Staryard deliveries, but it fell flat because the ores were hard to get for a delivery then it would be all over the place.
