In my opinion, Barony is a game of endless risk management. You always have the option to do riskier, but more lucrative things. The obvious one is the gnomish mines. At large portions of the skill curve, it's a genuinely hard map to clear, but the rewards are insane. At some point, clearing it becomes essentially risk-free.

I view it like this. Your growth is a tug of war. Secret levels/sticking around to kill every enemy and sift through all the loot is countered by difficulty, and hunger drain, respectively.

Other than that, knowing and practicing your playstyle is also really important. If you're playing a tank class, please block, the AC gains are insane (also, blocks work in any direction, so you can block everyone while surrounded), if you play hit-and-run classes, practice your own effective range and mouse-inputted 180 degree turns to dodge their retaliations, so on, and so forth.

Also, I second what Demios said about the hall of trails, I haven't touched it that much because I had already learned the game before it came out, but it seems amazingly extensive.

- Male mage (I suppose a man with a robe can hurt some people)?
- Where it stops?
- What is the full list to provide to writers?

I understand OP point but he fails develop consequences, there's no limit to intolerance, many things he feels fine will feel as thing to be banned by some other intolerant.
