Ok so the other side is either a setting conflict with your PC hardware, or something going on with a CPU core. Though SHIFT servers can only be resolved by them, perhaps the community can help you figure out the specifics for that hardware/setting issue.

Just went 2 hours with no crash this time. I swear it's random. This was after a fresh install of Windows plus fresh install of everything. Completely new PC settings basically, drivers ect.

And after stress testing for hours all of my hardware. I'm 1000% convinced this is just a strange old game issue not working with modern day CPUs.

If anyone can test the game running on the standard Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900KF (3.20 GHz), that would be nice to see if they also crash randomly.

Thanks for clarifying. Will my Torches/Candles eventually burn out? Should I keep a few on hand at all times or is one infinitely re-usable?

I was just coming here to look up this fight. I was using a controller and I couldn't switch targets at all. The way I won was getting lucky by chain tiger combo sneak attacks on the swan until I got Fervor and when I hit him with a regular attack it knocked him out. The other two were cake compared to what a nuisance his group abilities were.

I have a house in desert that I made during pre hardmode so I could easily fend off the enemies
Too bad I was eager to kill the crimsoned shark and it killed me instead, even after the sandstorm ended
Tbh the most annoying aspect of this game is the spread of the corruption
and to a personal extent, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ herplings from crimson, worse than derplings ngl

am having the same issue my ping is at 30ms and boom 300ms its so laggy when it does that making me lose fights i cant deal with this problem

After playing BF for over 15 years, wtf has happend?? They release back to back Terrible games, BFV and 2042. BF6 is the Game the community was asking for years ago, and they were to Greedy and chose not to listen. How much did they pay Vince to show up and fix stuff?? Probably alot of money. All i can say is i have invested a lot of my time and money into a Franchise i feel like doesn't give a crap about players. You guys are on your last leg and this game fails your done as a studio. People are tired of Greed and asking for $70 for a game that is broken, cheater infested and still in 2025 has the worst net code i have ever seen on any online shooter for consecutive years straight. They are so WORRIED about making money and pushing the devs and people that build these games to there wits end. Fix the Freaking ui, i shouldn't have to go through 10 tabs for sense change, its ridiculous, did you guys create this with a controller in mind? and net code, cheaters, and actually balance the weapons!!!!!!! RPG direct fire should never give a hit marker!! wtf is that!! its an RPG. little things like that ruin the game. cant direct fire RPG but can get destroyed by an smg across the map. Spent to much time trying to be call of duty. You guys forgot who you are. I was given early access on the 7th, and sure, i genuinely, enjoyed my time. BF6, feels and looks more in tune with what the community has been asking for. But will you guys be able to actually keep your word and make a great BF again, or grab the money and run??? First time i see a dumb a character skin or weapon skin im out. Its probably going to happen first 3 months of release. Why is it so hard to make a great shooter for your player base? We as a community have given you millions and millions of dollars every year, just to get brushed off and told we are the problem. Hope this BF is good. Been way to long. Any Devs see this, Thank you for BF6 and I hope you keep your word and don't disappoint us once again.

But no CON change. Glad wetness is getting made how it should have been from the start. It shouldn't have taken acts of God to change it. And that fact doesnt change even if they fix it.

Until I can play without exercising my toon I'm staying logged out.

Went into Bloody Palace as Mu. Got to round 20, died. Game took me back to character select--I pressed B to exit (using xbox controller). After doing this what happens isnt easy to describe--A bodyless Hat Kid falls infinitely through the void outside the Bloody Palace's skybox, taking a health point of damage every interval of fall distance until dieing, and then the game returns me to the Bloody Palace character select.

Hitting Restart Level in the menu puts me back on the character select again, and the same thing happens. Only way out and back to base seems to be, fittingly, the 'back to base' option in the menu.
Additionally: After returning to base, I decided to go back in and see what would happen if i hit B without completing any rounds, and the falling phenomena happened again.

Not sure if this is all working as intended, so I thought I'd offer my experience up as a report, just in case.
