Is there any intent to further optimise/stabilise the game at this time? I haven't been able to complete a single run due to crashing. I'm running on a laptop with an i5-1035G1, 20 GB Ram, and Intel(R) UHD Graphics (w/ updated drivers). Seemingly very similar to the specs that Swapq describe above. It's capable of running the game on low settings without much issue, but is still consistently crashing before I can finish the second or third game.

Try adding those to your launch options. Forcing onto DX11 might help with your specs.

For a game like this to lean into magnitudes of difficulty and character power greater would require buffs that interact with the frame data and i dont think anyone wants that. Right now having circumstantial buff activation change between runs actually incentivizes players to change how they navigate combat. Theres certainly more fun interactions they can add but nothing thats going to empower characters to attack or move at 10x speed.
