Is "Game Filters and Photo Mode" in you Nvidia app?
That can lead to mayor slow downs.

Overall we recommend to turn every thing off in that app that tries to mess with the true output of the game.
We can only optimize our game but we can't deal with terrible drivers and app-settings done by Nvidia.

THIS! I stand with the small developers above all else, but also refuse to give these monsters the satisfaction as long as they can dictate what is allowed to be curated here on Steam and itch. To that end I'm personally thinking of repurchasing indie games that I have here on GOG, as well as future indie releases. Any that aren't released there, I may as well buy on consoles as an alternate way to support them.

I have done my part to voice my discontent by raising awareness on my socials, signing petitions and reaching local reps on the matter, but I can always do more to help the creators I am passionate about without caving in to the demands of these oligarchs.

Nvidia's 50 series cards don't support physx. That's why it runs so bad
