Sometimes when you load a game, some components become "inert" and stops working(known bug). Most common(for me) is Defense Fields, but sometimes weapons and other components can act up as well. Recycle and rebuild usually fixes it.

Confessor's hint is "I can not Lie."

I guess you can say it's not explicit that that still applies to characters disguising as the confessor, but I think it's reasonable to assume it means that, and you figure it out after the first time seeing it happen so it's fine in the long run.

I find this hint more confusing than helpful, because above it already says that confessors say "I am dizzy" when they are "corrupted or evil", which are the only situations where the other characters would lie. And as "real" villagers can't be evil, it should be clear that this refers to evils disguising as confessors.

Edit: Forgot about the puppets, which are actual evil villagers...

You misundstand it.

If they are corrupted or evil, they say "i am dizzy"
If they are not, they say: "I am good"

So corrupted or evil dont lie because the confessor says they are dizzy, a lie would be if they said: "i am good"

For some hourglass players, the fun is unlocking the curse to have something casuals can't get.
