Yes, EA released the game disastrously back then, but they didn't abandon it and gradually turned it into what is actually a very good game, albeit one that is forever tarnished.

And I've already pre-ordered BF6 because I know from the beta that I'll be playing the game for a very, very long time.

Yeah, I managed to clear, now to hope new content doesn't come with steam achievements lol

I’d like to share some feedback and ideas regarding Jump Ship.

First of all, it would be great if the game could put more emphasis on space exploration and make it more rewarding. Right now, once you land on a mission, it often feels tight and confined — it would be nice to have larger environments, as sometimes it can even feel a bit claustrophobic.

Another idea: please consider adding a point-based system for bringing items back to the ship. For example, after each mission, everything we collect could be converted into parts, which then unlock what we’re able to take with us. Let’s say I have 2000 points — I could spend that on one SMG, one sniper rifle, and an upgraded ship cannon, and my limit would be used up. This would make scavenging feel more meaningful.

Regarding the ship’s shield system, right now it doesn’t feel very engaging — having someone just run around replacing batteries for the shield isn’t very satisfying. It would be great if that mechanic could be improved so that players have more meaningful roles on the ship.

Players also love progression, so adding more unlockable items and character leveling would be a huge plus.

Some ideas for the future:

Bigger maps with more open exploration.

Vehicles like rovers or mechs that could be deployed on planets to assist in missions.

Boarding actions inside massive ships, with a dark and tense atmosphere, similar to Alien.

A system where you can join another player’s ship if they call for backup, allowing for cooperative rescue or support missions.

Overall, you’re doing an amazing job — the game you’ve created is already brilliant, and these are just a few suggestions you might consider implementing one day.

As for how you define peaceful can be something as simple as no increasing world tension or no offensive wars.
