That might actually work. When you restore a map, it doesn't change the "meta" save that consists of your character, talents, currencies, etc. You could mine out an exotic node, send the exotics up to orbit, and then restore an older save from before you mined the exotics. You would still have all the exotics you sent up. I did that by accident.

So the recipe unlocks you'd get from the different branches should still remain on your character. Your character info is stored in other files besides the maps.

Not that I would bother. Sounds like even more work then just starting another map.

Yes and no.

Yes, because she reincarnated herself into Angel (the woman in Los Alamos who got Johnny's frozen corpsicle in the training game/story back in 2045)

No, because afaik the point of Nirvana is to get to 'one ness' with the universe by being nothing. Wanting and needing nothing. And while engram Alt is most of the way there, she still wants things like trashing Mikoshi.

I'd say the spiritual side of the game is less about being a metaphor for god, jesus ect.... And more about hoping the player starts asking themselves questions.

I mean.. we got Catholics, Buddhists, atheist and agnostics. Techno-viking and Techno-satanism (Maelstrom) techno-voodoo, animism and even a cult out in the badlands who hopped into a server hoping to Cyber Away team themselves before the Blackwall War gets here.

It's about questions, and searching for answers I think.
