I think something needs to be done to nerf the chance of CDs autotackle making penalties on adversary forwards that had invaded the area. In every game it happens at least one, sometimes two or even three penalties that same way. It got so bad that I had to sell all my CDs and bought only regular defenders to avoid it. Please, fix it, its maddening

the problem with that is despite being someone who plays both sides this just isnt reasonable due to how different both sides are, no one wants to play both sides since survivor is super boring if you play solo but really fun if SWF but for killer your almost garenteed to have a bit of fun unless the survivors are in a swf

If a killer is doing a full slug requires the survivors to make tons of mistakes and hard tunneling at 5 gens means their a bad killer so it should be a 5 man escape so if thats consistently happening to a group of survivors that means their bad at the game not the killer being powerful and also this point applies to survivors, ive had matches were survivors get 3 gens done before a single chase is finished had a whole team sabotage every hook before you can hook the survivor you just downed, 3 flashbangs, flashlights. survivors dont give the killer a chance to play either, both sides use cheap tactics to win aswell

while i do agree I prefer getting skilled plays rather than killing or escaping, i still want to escape and get kills since thats the point of the game, if you dont want kills or escapes then your probably getting tired of the game and play something else like civ5 [lol]

I have a big problem with this sentence since due to how competitive DBD has become its not selfish to play the game as efficiently as possible especially when some lower tier killers are forced to do this due to bhvr not balancing killers ever and also you make it a killer only issue when its on both sides, survivors just thrown on tool boxes and second chance perks and call themselves good when its just them relying on crutches, dbd isnt a skill expression game

It would open some eyes from people that are a bit too sheltered from reality. We can't force people to play both sides, but often the worst takes come from players that only play 1 role.

As for the slugging... I'm afraid I have to disagree. It is very easy to full slug if you are somewhat okay as a killer. I did a little experiment where I slugged everyone for 2 weeks (17 days to be exact), only hooking once everyone was down. (I know, not a nice thing. I wasn't always the kindest killer around). I did it mostly out of curiosity as some very good survivor friends told me just how broken slugging can be. I have the numbers laying around for this, but in those 2 weeks, less than 20 people managed to escape. I'm a pretty decent huntress, but it was beyond easy to get everyone on the floor bleeding out consistently. I played on average 4-6 hours a day during that period and outside of an accidental bleed-out every now and then, everyone got sacrificed after the slug so my MMR was only increasing.

I see top tier killers at high MMR tunnel from the very start of the game consistently. The idea that only bad killers do this isn't true. There are a few nurse, billy and wesker mains out there that are very capable and still tunnel every single game. Most survivors do not last long against those kind of players.

I disagree with the 'if you don't want kills or escapes you are probably getting tired of the game'. I enjoy the game, I just don't care about the outcomes of the game anymore. What is in it for me? Some BP that I really don't need anymore? I don't get a stimuli from the escape screen, I don't get a rush from getting a 4K. I do get excitement from throwing an axe over the entire map and hear that meaty crunch after. I'll do my best in chases both as survivor and killer because doing your best leads to the interesting moments, those exciting moments where you barely make something or hit something... But I don't care about the outcome of the game.

DBD is only as competitive as you make it. And in my opinion, most of the survivor teams that face me respond to how I play. Throwing a few 360° hatchets at someone in chase while still seriously playing the game lightens up the mood and survivors respond to that in my experience. Going out of my way to not tunnel or force someone out of the game gets appreciated by a lot of people in the post credits. Are there salty and toxic survivors? Totally. But most are just some gamers trying to have fun. I've been enjoying my change up from trying my hardest to playing a bit more chill. Have I lost a few games that I could have won if I would tunnel or slug? Sure, but most of the time I still get my 3/4K while playing relaxed.

I do agree it was mainly just the 500 hour thing that urked me the wrong way since I play killer the most yet I still believe alot of killer things are BS [if i could get rid of kankei then I would do it in a heart beat i hate him so much]

But let me ask you something about these slugging matches you did, did the survivors just run up to the slugged survivor trying to get them up or did they try to wait for you to leave the slugged survivor alone then heal them but then you sniped them from across the map

ok the tunneling one was my fault cuz i was really tired when i wrote that [cant believe i said 5 man escape] I should of specified that i meant hard tunneling rather than just normal tunneling [hard tunneling is when you focus on survivor and ignore the rest and regular tunneling is just killing the unhooked survivor if you run into them by accident] but still those are top tier killers so either way they wouldnt last long against them due to how unbalanced dbd is

I mainly said that due to the fact that if you arent playing to win then I dont really see why you would play the game

I disagree because if you play certain killers you cant really have the fun casual match since my main killer is legion, theres not realy anything silly you can do with legion while still playing the game and it also prevented me from getting into another killer that I had alot of fun with which was trapper since the first couple of matches were really fun then due to getting at a high mmr I cant play trapper without sweating my ass off

Recovery up does not affect allies and neither does Speed eating
Speed eating is still usefull as you will most likely be using a lot of consumables and it makes the whole process faster and you can start using a second potion faster if needed.
Quick sheath is also nice if you can squeeze it in as it allows you to start healing a lot faster.

yea i saw the video, he's 100% cheating, he's a bad player and ofc he came from Counter-Strike the biggest cheater game in history.

Yes he snaps but he has aimbot/aim assist to make sure the snap is always perfect.

I've played CS for over 27-28 years, you can easily see the aim assist takes over when he shoots and it hovers over an enemy, it's likely a toggle/trigger.

Also I think I know who he is, his brother is a huge loser and they are both huge losers, that Riley and his bro, not to do a witch hunt but theyre bad very bad at games so ofc they likely cheat.

Did you manage to get this working? i tried it (and installed it in the path you mentioned) but it doesn't work at all. It says the application could not be found.

Your Folder structure should be like, For example:
-- C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\Relic Entertainment\Dawn of War\Mods\
-- Dawn Of Skirmish SS\
-- Dowai_mod (Folder)
-- Data (Folder)
-- dowai.module

Then activate the mod in game using the mod section.
It works fine.
