There is some speculation that they might change the day 1 dlc. They mentioned on their X account that they heard the fans.

This game has been in development hell for years so it's like whatever at this point.

Now truth if this game doesn't do well, You can kiss goodbye any chance for any sort of sequel that might be able to make it a good rpg game. You might as well get comfortable playing Vampires The Masquerade Bloodlines for the rest of your life.

The death of this franchise is my biggest fear from the entire thing, hell I even liked Bloodhunt despite support being pulled very quickly

This franchise never lived...The OG game's developers no longer existed by the time the game released. the publishers then did crazy things with the title..I remember buying mine off of a cardboard standee that had Master Chief on one side and the sexy Malk girl on the other for $5 when brand new, it was some kind of weird Halo/VTM sale for the holidays I think... For some reason VTM seems waaaayy toooo hard for modern gaming companies, which is weird because one just nailed Hellraiser...perhaps the VTM IP should go to them.

In Honor mode you have to save scum if you fail and they are hostile. So the key is to not fail.

You can't save scum in Honor mode, that's like one of the main points to it.
