So with 42.11 we implemented a number of performance optimisations which resulted in 2 issues. There is a bug related to large quantities of items in containers causing performance issues that we are actively working on (which is what Alucard above linked). I don't believe that's what you're experiencing though. The other issue is with mods and old saves. Because we've reworked a lot to improve performance, old saves can have some issues, as can some mods.

I'd recommend testing on a new save with no mods and see if the issue persists. I suspect you'll notice a marked improvement.

hey thanks for the reply, and yes i did test without mods its DEFINITELY an old save issue. Some things to note is the area i was in had several shipping pallets of bricks and hadn't 'woken up' all the zeds yet. restarting tends to fix it so no clue there. for context on the save size when i converted to this recent update it had to patch 20k or so assets lol

when testing on the fresh save without mods i dint notice any performance bugs that being said ill probably just wait for the hot fix to come through if one does. cheers and thanks for the help.

people told me, most players are on console. so i turn on cross play. i get match with the same 20 people over and over from console. ^.- funny enough not the same on pc :P
