Look, vacations are fine. Everyone deserves time off. But let’s be real here: the “mandated vacations” excuse doesn’t hold up when you’re announcing DLC, dropping roadmaps, and pushing content at the same time. Clearly, some of the team is available to work on new content and patch pipelines, so you can definitely have someone give regular updates to the players who are actually keeping this game alive.

Right now it feels like we’re being kept in the dark until you’re ready to sell us something new. Meanwhile, bugs, exploits, and endgame problems go unaddressed in terms of clear communication. That’s the part that’s unacceptable. This isn’t about wanting miracles overnight—it’s about basic respect for the people who bought into your game.

Other studios manage short, consistent updates (even just a small weekly post saying “here’s what’s on fire and here’s where we’re at”). Why can’t you? Saying nothing until a big event or blog post just reinforces the idea that communication is the lowest priority, when it should be a baseline expectation.

If you have the bandwidth to roll out DLC trailers, you have the bandwidth to talk to your community. Stop with the excuses. Start showing transparency. Otherwise, don’t be surprised if people stop sticking around waiting for improvements you never bother to talk about.

I deleted your game and will never buy anything from you again.

I'm a retired dev of 31 years, and I know the software development life-cycle better than most, because I taught it for years to Accenture devs and the UWF. It boggles my mind that they put the software into production before the vacation season. It would be akin to me releasing the finalized software into a live environment for end-users without providing them with software maintenance support for that duration. The majority of bugs during the software’s life cycle occur immediately after being put into production/deployment. Take my points, Sir.
