I get where you're coming from but I think they'll probably just keep the censorship across the board. They have to keep making updates to the to improve performance, adjustments and maybe even add DLC but if they had to do that for two different versions, it's at least twice the work. Chances are they see the changes as not a big deal since most Western players won't mind or care if certain characters don't die anymore and the Chinese players that do care will be satisfied they were valued. Damn, this feels like a Gacha game all of a sudden.(Joke being in a lot of gacha games Chinese/Asian players get preferential treatment over Western player complaints or criticisms).

I could be wrong but logistically, it makes the most sense and is the most likely outcome. By all means do what you have to do and try to inform/ask professionally and kindly but, just know you might be ice skating uphill on this one.

Not a professional on the topic but I still remember when CS was good in the ol days on Nuke if you used reshade it just outright gave you wallhacks because the game rendered stuff differently and so the fences would show through for some reason and therefore players shadow.

Then later was another one with reshade just got rid of smokes entirely so it affecting DBD smokes aswell I can see very much happening. I use to have different reshade presets permap ages back and the ol red mist would vanish on certain maps on Borgos so

It doesn't look like what reshade can do. Some cheat, yes. Some hacked reshade possibly, but not reshade. (And thus not whitelisted.)

It clearly states: post-processing injector/frame color and depth. So it means "the rendered frame" and "how far" each pixel is from the camera.

As for their API: (Application Programming Interface), you'll find:

A way to register a "plugin" to extend reshade.
A way to be triggered when the GPU is being initialised.
A way to be triggered when the plugin is allowed to draw on the screen. (e.g. to draw a cross)
A way to be triggered when the presented frame is being swapped.

Nothing to intercept draw calls from the game/program.

So we are back in photoshop/gimp territory.

Game still feels bugged?

13hrs so far on the current update, only glitches I've found are my cars spawning in weird places (usually in the air, so they sometimes hit a light or vehicle and end up flipping) and I phased through the crack of a building once, but I was already in a no-no spot anyways. Nothing I've encountered so far is due to the new update, at least to my knowledge.

Autodrive is pretty poo though for how slow it is and how it tends to randomly disable. But to be fair I've yet to find a game with a good autodrive/autopilot system apart from the horse in RDR2 lol.
