Yep, pink square while watering, Westville doesn't unlock. I'm down to 300 influence to unlock Downtown, so I'll see if I can get it unlocked.

nope. the map is always showing "only" one region.

but I'll tell you a trick now...

each region is 8192x8192 in size. you see the X/Z coordinates on the map.

the starter region is always between 0/0 and 8192/8192
if your X is smaller 0, you are west of it.
if X is greater than 8192, your east of it.
as much regions as it is dividable by 8192.

same goes for Z and south/north
where Z=0 is the southern border of your starter region and every Z smaller 0 is south of it.

so, when you're on a savanna island and your coordinates are 0 < X < 8192 and -8192 < Z < 0 then you are exactly on the region south of your starter region.

and don't worry, you can't be too far away ...

Same problem here on HELL 100 especially.
Oblivion is ok-ish.... I'm doing around 30-50m with projectiles + melee (bleed/fire) build.
Devs are aware of it and have noted it in their patch notes to focus on for the next big update.

What the HELL are you talking about? Catholicism is by far the strongest faith in EU4. Orthodox and Coptic are both easily more powerful than Islam, and Protestant and Reformed are roughly equivalent.
