As people get better and better, i think a problem will emerge with the game's pace.

the state of the game today is already the version where people have gotten really good. I think Strinova has lower time to kill compared to apex, but higher time to kill compared to other tactical games like valorant.

Generally, the games that have shorter encounters and fast time to kills are more tactical, because positioning is so much more important. I think of Strinova to have very strong movement and defensive/evasive abilities due to stringify with the damage reduction + much harder to hit. Also the double jump allowing instant directional change.

Personally, I feel the engagements got more satisfying as I improved my aim over time, but maybe it's not so fun for the other player haha

I notice that the better and better people get, the shorter and shorter encounters are, which isn't surprising, but they can be ridiculously short. In apex legends, There are shields and shield batteries and etc, so the face pace is buffered against these things. However, on this game, someone can just jump and spam you before you could bat an eye. If two people encounter you, it's even more ridiculous.
I disagree on this actually. Compared to apex, in Strinova you actually have a lot of ways to survive if you're jumped by the opponent due to the extremely strong movement and stringify. Think of stringify as a kind of instant shield button, when you're in trouble just turn into paper and survive longer. If you need to reload, just do it in paper mode. Apex actually has no equivalent to something like this. And even the advanced movement techniques like tap strafe in apex, strinova has a stronger version since you can just do it whenever you want and in any direction.

On Sword Clash, I think this pace problem really showcases itself. Instead of strategic combat with swords, it's more like spamming and bunny hopping on steroids. It's one of the reasons I dislike Sword Clash. It's too fast and not strategic.
The game isn't balanced around Sword Clash, since that's just a casual/party mode. There might be some strategy but honestly, most players don't care and they just want to spam.
