I don't have game installed anywhere but I guess I can download depots with specific manifests if needed(ie of the specific year). You can also try this using download_depot command in the Steam's console. Just google download_depot for instructions. According to the https://steamdb.info/app/208480/depots/ those depots are still present.
Try these commands in the Steam's console:
download_depot 208480 227130
download_depot 208480 227131
download_depot 208480 227132
They should download 3 parts of King Washington's DLC if all is good. Or say something about wrong license if not.

I can't check saves right now as they should be on another PC but last time I've played original AC3 was so long ago it should be before servers shutdown.

Great answer, I will try it as soon as I can, but don't I need to own Ac3 2012 on Steam to use dowoad_depot? I only have it on Ubisoft Connect.

Also, interior will not be included, except for some parts, but they could be removed after 1.1 (last time I checked). That is actually the reason why they were cut off from the game - too expensive and long to interior development.

I don't know but I don't buy it. They could have taken the interiors from KCD1 easily and improved a little on it.

Seems more like a political thing to me. Same as the gay thing.
