Wow this is so surreal, another game changing from the MMO to roguelike like voidcrew and wayfinder, man I will say i really do miss the old game. But congrats on the release! Hope yall the best ill def try this out

It is implied that if your face is covered, it allows you to get away with being disguised. That's a mechanic you'll run into later. Though it isn't exactly fully explained in-game.

Oh, I thought that disguises marked what faction they're associated with, but after testing it seems that common items like the face mask which don't mention an associated faction work with the insurrection. That's my mistake

Thanks for the extra information and for sending us a log. From what we can see, the issue seems to be that the VR session isn’t being detected properly at startup, which prevents the controllers from showing up. This can happen if the OpenXR runtime isn’t set correctly or if a compatibility layer (such as the one from Virtual Desktop) is interfering.

Please try the following depending on your setup:

**Quest 3 with Meta Quest Link / Air Link (recommended)**

1. Open the **Meta Quest Link** app on your PC and connect your headset via Link cable or Air Link.
2. In the Meta Quest Link app, go to **Settings > General > OpenXR Runtime** and click **“Set Meta OpenXR as active”**.
3. Put on your headset and make sure you’re in the Link home environment.
4. With the headset already active, launch Motion Soccer from your Steam library (no need to manually start SteamVR).

**Valve Index (SteamVR)**

1. Open **SteamVR**.
2. Go to **SteamVR > Settings > Developer** and click **“Set SteamVR as OpenXR Runtime”**.
3. With SteamVR running and your headset active, launch Motion Soccer from your Steam library.

**If you still want to use Virtual Desktop (not recommended for troubleshooting)**

1. Make sure SteamVR is set as the **OpenXR Runtime** (see steps above).
2. In your headset, open **Virtual Desktop** and first launch SteamVR.
3. Once in SteamVR, launch Motion Soccer from the SteamVR library.
4. Update **Virtual Desktop Streamer** to the latest version and disable any “Oculus compatibility layer” options if present.

If the problem continues after these steps, please:
* Which method you’re using (Meta Quest Link / Air Link / SteamVR / Virtual Desktop).
* Headset model and versions of SteamVR and/or Meta app.

From the log we received, we can see `XR_ERROR_FORM_FACTOR_UNAVAILABLE`, which usually means the VR runtime isn’t initializing correctly. Setting the correct OpenXR runtime should fix it.

most people are angry because they spent money (gambling) and then it shut down. while it's understandable for having the game shut down so suddenly, people really should learn to control their impulses, that's exactly what gacha games try to exploit, but only the user really has the final decision. if said players just go and find another one then they really have a problem. I'm no gacha player, just a Kodaka fan, and I decided to support the game when something i kinda liked showed up (chapter 2 battle pass). and im getting all that refunded regardless, lol

also there WILL be refunds for any unspent paid entities when it ends

It's a bug. They are aware of it and will put out a fix soon. I am not sure when, but they made a statement this morning.

They put out another for the third time stating there is no ETA for a time of when it will be fixed. Chalk the game as this point because how do you break DLSS/DLAA in a beta when all you did was add a map and game modes

I just want to say that I love you guys, I love DBD and you do a very good and hard work, I know that that spagguetti code its very difficult to just try to fix, thanks for add new content, the new item its very funny to used mid chase.
I know that this people are complaining about everything but its because we love this game, and thats why its the only game that I play more than 1k hours close to 2k, never get the same game, always something new to learn, new mind games, new pathings, new perks, just thank you guys, keep going
