Yeah I know it was bad for a LOT of people but I myself never found any particular thing wrong with the game personally. I still have fond memories of the game and potentially seeing it remade with better models, less glitches because I know thar be glitches, would be amazing.

I've learned that when my friend he couldn't see me or my name ingame or on the map unless we're next to each other, it seems your hidden by default on the map & have to enable yourself on the map to be shown ingame or on the map. can try that.
Move crossair over your own icon & enable yourself to be seen (should be some button prompt in bottom right when hovered over yourself)

THANK YOU!!! So damn frustrating, my friends were bullying me because of it and or getting pissed they couldn't see me. The ping system could use some work.

Would really like if the "Show Unavailable" recipes checkbox worked, as far as I can tell, unchecking the box does nothing. It would be nice to easily see what you can craft with currently available items.

Also would be great if you could click on, or search an item to see what current recipes you have that use that item in it.

And to have pinned recipes highlighted, so that it is much easier to find them again when you are ready to craft it, as well as finding them quickly to unpin them without using the "Unpin All" button

One that's a slap in the face to all existing PC players. While it may not seem all that nefarious now, it's setting a precedent, one that signals that it's perfectly fine to alter and game and the terms you agreed to post purchase, at the expense of the gamer. What if people don't like Epic Games and don't want them to have their data? A lot of gamers don't which is why they're on Steam, but they're out of luck now huh? Long after the refund window is closed. How is this any different to what Helldivers did with trying to force players to make a PSN account?

Truth be told I have a real strong sense of justice sometimes to a fault, and nothing pisses me off more that watching people get taken advantage of but if you backed this game with $100 and are fine with this, then who am I to get upset over it?

1 PD in a 360 turret is more than enough for most encounters.
Once im in a Dread i dont use them.
Cruiser it is debatable, maybe if you are mobile enough to kite enemies.

Try the Orb weapons in those slots

1 armor pen
1 crit
Auto targeting

max speed boosters / the damage mod / rest in range

You will destroy enemies faster, so your shields will be under less pressure so a few missiles wont matter.

No, I think this is less a case of accidental sinophobia and moreso the fact that Chinese devs (who exactly? Don't know, but obviously not someone tasteful like the Black Myth Wukong crew) have put that same gacha strategy "game" out dozens of times, re-skinned with a dozen different themes. Anyone who compared it to Rise of Kingdoms wasn't just making a comparison, they correctly identified what lies under the hasty paint job.
And when he says "pay to win," that's not just complaining about like, an EA game where you can lootbox your way to victory but there's still a skill component and some kind of mode to play therein,
he means that's the only thing in the game. It's constantly hounding you for "starter packs," weekly this, monthly that, just microtransaction nation.

(And sure, while some :AoE3DE: fans could definitely re-learn manners (probably even me--though I think many of the comments in this thread were mild or even humorous),
it is just sickening on so many levels that the mobile trap gets promoted while the beloved black sheep gets disappeared.)

At least AoE 3 got a DLC and a *proper* Definitive Edition. AoE 1 DE got dropped almost immediately. They released it, added Reign of the Hittites, patched it once or twice and then it conveniently sank. They didn't even fix the AI problems on the lower difficulty settings.

Since gameplay got some improvements from how it was in the demo version.

Feedback would be a beta. A demo is a demo, and if it was removed, that smells like trouble.

Read what the devs pinned and stop spamming with these "Where B42 Multiplayer" and "B42 is trash without MP" posts.
